"This was our first time on Lake Oconee, and loved it. Family came from all over the country and all were very impressed by the house and lake. The kids played from morning to night on the dock jumping in the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Tommy's Pontoons, the boat was really nice however, its a bit of a drive. We also rented a ski boat from Twin lakes rental. Advid family skiers / wake boarders were not impressed by the boat. We brought our wave runners and put them in just up the road from the house. The house is three levels and much larger and roomier than pictures show. The downstairs is a very large living room that you dont see in the pics. There is also a laundry room down there. My only suggestive would be that the owners make a list of things that are available at the home. Such as kitchen items and iron and TV possiblities for those that are not on the water all day. If I would have know I would not have traveled with my iron and hand mixer... Also, I was told the kayaks are not for guest use which was disappointing to many family memebers because they saw the pic of it and thought they could use it. Plan on making a 20-30 minute trip to get to publix or anywhere for that matter. We took a day trip to Milledgeville which was a small college town with some antique stores. We stopped in at the welcome center in town and did a tour of the Govenors House. There is a trolly tour but it only has one tour a day at 10 am in the morning, so we missed it, but enjoyed the walk around town looking at the older homes. The lake house is not recommended for anyone that can't use stairs. Other than that We really enjoyed our stay in this home and look forward to going back! BTW the Ritz Carlton is a great place to dock your boat and enjoy the pool bar, drinks were great and lunch look good too."

"My family rented this chalet for the Labor day weekend. The cabin was well-appointed and extremely comfortable for 4 adults. The only thing we missed having was a hair-dryer. Things smelled a little musty when we entered, but a can of air freshener took care of that. We had lovely weather and were able to spend lots of time on the porch, which has a great view of the lake and surroundings. Walked one night to Crickets restaurant; visited Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari, and visited Warms Springs and the Little White House on our way back to the airport. It was a relaxing, fun-filled trip, and the location of the cabin could not have been better. The resort was well-populated for the holiday weekend, but very quiet and serene throughout. We hope to have an opportunity to return."

"Cozy home on a great location ( close to restaurants & diwntown Roswell) w/ very attentive & accomodating owners. We stayed at their rental home fully stocked w/ necessities. We had to make sure that our dogs behaved well & that we picked up after our dogs to show appreciation to the owners for letting us all stay together. We always wipe our dogs iw/ paws included upon entering the house & we do not bring in our shoes inside the rooms to show consideration to owners. We love this very relaxing home w/ TV in each room .Highly recommended."
