  • Girls weekend

"The lake house was the perfect size for the 6 of us, very clean ... we were wanting a quiet getaway to relax & spend time together. Spent our days fishing & floating off of the dock and our evenings on the screened in porch playing games and watching the lightening bugs... only 3 complaints were 1-no outdoor lighting around patio/grill area or leading to the dock and 2- paddleboat had seating for 4 but only held 2 people or it would start sinking and 3-bushes/shrubs were VERY overgrown and perfect hiding places for snakes... Overall it was a good choice for our getaway and would stay there again!"

  • Our best family reunion ever!

"With three families including five grandkids, it is hard to find the perfect place to gather, this home is it. We put the four older grandkids in the upstairs lakeview room with the adjoining bunk room, it worked perfect. The three couples each had their own bedroom, nice. We taught the grandkids how to play ping-pong and how to play billiards, including how to bank shots. The dock with the slide really was the highlight of our time together, that slide was so much fun. The dining room sat all ten of us after we moved the game table next to the dining table, plenty of room. The kitchen had everything that was needed. We will come back again."

  • You should stay here!

"My husband and I took our teenage girls and another couple to the Lake for a long weekend. It was such a quiet, relaxing time, and we really enjoyed it. The guys fished, and the girls hung out, spending hours watching the lake and yard birds through the back windows. The house has everything you need for a comfortable visit, and the owners could not be more helpful or friendly. I would come back again in a minute!"

  • Very cozy and Love the view!!!!

"Two nights at the Fox Theater were amazing and to come home to this condo made the weekend perfect. From the great view and the incredibly comfortable bed, this will be a weekend we won't forget. It was a cold weekend but the individual heating made us warm and cozy. The location is close to everything. The owner was extremely helpfull with any of our concerns. Next time were in Atlanta this is the place we want to stay."

Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern Travel Tips

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. History-lovers will also enjoy a trip to Meadow Gardens in Augusta, the former home of George Walton, the youngest signatory on the Declaration of Independence. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.
