"As a former resident of Atlanta, I am very familiar with the Morningside/Virginia Highlands neighborhood. It is by far, the most desirable, in-town neighborhood in Atlanta, and is close to ALL activities. The cottage was just perfect for me and my 2 children for our 3 week visit. The house was well furnished and comfortable and Jim was very accommodating. We will certainly stay in the cottage on our future visits!"Guest: Nikki L. "We spent a perfect week at this fabulous house in Sandy Springs and just wish we had scheduled it for two weeks. Our group of 8 woke up every day in comfortable beds to lovely views and complete quiet (we provided the noise!) Every amenity was available and the views out every window were gorgeous. Felt like we were in a 5 star tree house! The owner responded to our emails and phone calls promptly and he obviously takes pride in this home. The pool was perfect and added so much to the appeal of this property. Originally we were to be a group of 10 and we would have been quite comfortable at that size, too. I kept thinking what a great place this would be for a retreat of some sort; there are places to gather and places to spend quietly apart from the others. Most of our activities were in the city, and the commute was quite easy each time we had to drive in. The airport commute was also easy, which added to our peace of mind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"Guest: Mimi Z. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 6, 2014View listing
"We had a great time!! Thank you to Carol and Tom for allowing our family to share your beautiful home. The house was just as described, we really enjoyed our time there, our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay there. We would definitely recommend this house, it has all you need and then some. The communication with Carol was fantastic, i really appreciate it. We would absolutely return if the opportunity arised!! The house fit 13 of us comfortably and the view of the lake was spectacular, my husband and son went kayaking and really enjoyed it. Once again, thank you!!"Guest: Elizabeth L. "Our family had a great time at this house. The owner was fantastic to deal with and the house was large, clean and well maintained. I would recommend this house for any family or group that wants to experience a great vacation. We rented a Pontoon boat, fished off the dock, grilled outside and had a great family week-end."Guest: John Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 30, 2014View listing
