Recent Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern property reviews

  • a home away from home

"We were in town for a family gathering and this place was everything it was advertised to be and more. Rarely have we rented a place so clean, well equipped, and tasteful. We saw lots of birds sitting on the back deck overlooking the water. It has a very spacious layout that allowed two families to stay together without being crowded."

  • Wonderful Property

"I truly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful Atlantic Station condo. It was very close to many area attractions, and convenient to stores and shops. The property was immaculately kept, and very inviting. It felt like a home away from home. Whenever I make a trip to Atlanta, I will definitely stay at this property."

  • Quiet and Beautiful

"Enjoyed a great weekend with family and grandchildren. Quiet cove made for a good place for kids to swim in water. Beautiful house with great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the inspirational writings. Everything you will need. We look forward to our next visit."

  • Great choice for our family

"We just returned from our week in Atlanta and I was extremely impressed and happy with the condo we rented. It was me, my husband, our 4-year old son and his 18-year old babysitter (brought along so that my husband and I could go out nights and attend the conference we were in town for without worrying about our son) and this property was PERFECT. Clean, reasonably spacious, well-appointed and, most importantly, an easy walk (even for a 4-year old) to about a dozen restaurants, the supermarket, a movie theater, and public transportation. Great pool and nice building. Really, best of Atlanta. Owner is really nice, excellent communication and very accomodating to our needs."

Metro Atlanta, Central & Southern Travel Tips

Get Away to Georgia Vacation Rentals

For a refreshing away-from-the-rat-race vacation, central southern Georgia is hard to beat. It is very easy to access, has warm sunny days for most of the year, and the beautiful natural scenery just begs to be explored and enjoyed. Renting a comfortable Pine Mountain log cabin or Lake Sinclair vacation rental in Georgia is the perfect escape for a weekend or longer, allowing visitors to completely relax and recharge their batteries.

Choosing Your Georgia Lodging

A log cabin or vacation home gives plenty of flexibility in both size and location. Choose a quiet retreat where you will not be disturbed by noisy neighbors in the next hotel room. Vacation rentals come in all sizes to suit couples, families or groups of friends on a budget sharing the accommodation. Set in popular locations for exploring the area, vacation homes have all the extras such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor sitting area, books, games and more than one TV. They are ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals and follow their own timetable, getting up and eating when they choose to.

Things to do From Georgia Vacation Rentals

Southern central Georgia has plenty of historical and architectural sites for history-lovers to enjoy. There are many old homes and mansions, such as the Old Governor’s Mansion in Milledgeville which was home to 10 Georgian governors and became Sherman’s headquarters during the Civil War. History-lovers will also enjoy a trip to Meadow Gardens in Augusta, the former home of George Walton, the youngest signatory on the Declaration of Independence. The area has many theaters and arts venues, including the Douglass Theater at Macon. Visit the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia on the outskirts of Athens or simply head out on an adventure of your own in the Oconee National Forest.

Kayaking, boating, waterskiing, wildlife viewing, fishing, rock climbing, biking, swimming and plenty of golf courses are all close to your Georgia lodging.

Getting to Central Southern Georgia

The nearest major airport is the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at Atlanta. Rent a car and head out on your Southern Georgia adventure. Alternatively, south central Georgia is easy to drive to from many of the south eastern states.

The Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Museum of Aviation and the Harriet Tubman Museum of African-American Art and History offer a varied choice of things to see.

Athens is home to the University of Georgia, rock groups REM and B-52 and, consequently has a thriving entertainment scene.
