  • Short vacation in Savannah

"We loved our stay in Savannah and loved this condo. The pictures of the condo absolutely reflect how it actually looks. This is not always the case. Most importantly, the condo is spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all updated appliances and also has all of the essential cooking utensils. Very well equipped. The location is ideal. Almost everything is within walking distance from the property. The unloading of luggage and finding the reserved parking space in the parking garage is somewhat difficult. The owner is very good at explaining this but it still is confusing. The parking spot numbers are very difficult to see because they are not clean. However, once you know where the spot is, it is very convenient to the condo. We have already recommended this property to friends and they have booked a stay. We would highly recommend a stay in this condo if you want a nice, clean and conveniently located property in Savannah."

  • PERFECT

"Right on the beach, big yard for the kids to play in, beautifully updated interior, close to our favorite restaurants. Only one draw back is that the bigger master bedroom does not have a bathtub (shower only), probably not an issue for most people. Love this unit, can't wait to return."

  • Great beach getaway...family vacation

"This was our second annual weekly visit to the Dennard's delightful cottage...plus my wife had a family 'girls' retreat in between over a long weekend. The listing description and photos present an accurate depiction of this cottage that is so convenient to the beach. This week was made extra special since our son, wife, and 2 grandsons (6 and 8) joined us for a few days...the boys had a great time mostly at the beach, and enjoyed particularly eating out at Iguanas and Gnat's Landing. Recommend visits to Christ Church Frederica, Pier Village and Jekeyll Island (especially Driftwood Beach at low tide). A great getaway to relax and enjoy God's beautiful creation...we have recommended this cottage to many of our family and friends."

  • Lovely hidden gem, perfect for a weekend getaway

"My husband and I were in town for a long weekend and were looking forward to finding a place to relax and call "home" for 3 days. The cottage was perfect! This place is fully set up with amenities and the most COMFORTABLE bed. I always appreciate having a kitchen at my disposal and we were able to enjoy our mornings with a breakfast at the cottage each day during our visit. The carriage house was neat and tidy when we arrived and found it just the right amount of space for 2 adults. We were in town to do some running, so we found it helpful to have laundry facilities available. Everything is available--towels, beach towels (even sunscreen!), toiletries, hair dryer, laundry detergent... All communication with Heather was quick and she kindly met us when we checked in, walking us through the space, and sharing with us some of her favorite restaurants. Savannah was having a bit of a cold spell overnights while we visited, so I can assure you the heat worked quite well. One tip for travelers, I recommend bringing slippers if it is going to be cold. In the nature of Savannah-style construction, the floors are not insulated, and the floor in the cottage was a bit chilly in the mornings. That doesn't take away from how lovely our stay was. On street parking was not an issue and we were steps from Forsyth Park, a great coffee shop and a natural food store. There is a Kroger Supermarket about 4-5 blocks away, too. We will definitely return for a future visit. Thank you again!"
