"In "Dutch Treat" we found the perfect place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family.
Besides a beautiful property generally, the house itself is the best. Combining elegance and sophistication with warmth and thoughtful functionality. It is a home that the owners fortunately choose to share.
The location was wonderful for three generations: we, the seniors, sought the beach and sunrises and sunsets while the next generation made the Beach Club the center of their days. And finally the teenagers were everywhere on the resort...biking, shooting skeet, playing tennis, playing chess in the Cloister! Dutch Treat couldn't be better located - within steps of the beach and just a few blocks from the resort amenities.
We all recommend this very lovely home and trust that you, too, will find it "only the best"!

"We rented this house for a ladies' week-long getaway. It's a lovely home in a nice neighborhood--five minute easy walk to the beach. The beds/rooms were very comfortable and considering 2 people in our party had had bone/joint surgery in the past year, the elevator was extremely convenient for luggage and shopping bags! AC worked well. The house was clean and well kept--the decks were amazing for evening drinks and knitting or chatting. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, dishes, and glasses. There was a minor problem with the stove, which was replaced, and the plumbing, which was repaired. The owner was nice and good about communication. The price is reasonable for the amenities and location, and it's most helpful to have a laundry right in the house. We also appreciated that this house has 4 parking spaces (most have only two). Not a criticism--just advice--if you have children, be careful to show them how to use the elevator accordion door, which can pinch fingers if you aren't aware of how to use it. And this has nothing to do with the house, but the neighborhood pools are quite small, plus no one seemed to notice that one was for "families with young children" and the other was not. Not that important--We spent most of our days on the beach, anyway, which was great. Travel Tip: Rent an umbrella and chairs from the nice fellows a few condos south--for a few days' rental and a gratuity, they'll set everything up for you. :)"

"The pictures don't do the house justice. We spent a week at this beautiful home for an extended family trip. The house is gorgeous: great artwork, wonderful bedroom suites, each with it's own bathroom, great open kitchen and great room, and an outdoor porch that we lived on. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating and responded to all questions right away. The area had something for everyone. The easy beach access is great, and we enjoyed daily bike rides around Sea Island. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area."
