  • Bang for the buck

"We only had a few days, but the acomidations were great. We enjoyed the space that we had. there are essentially two living rooms with tv so the Kids and adults can watch what they want after going to the Beach. The short walk to the Beach, Pier and shops makes this a Great location to stay. Having a big yard allows you to have a badmitten/volley ball net or a corn hole game with no problem. Having the washer/dryer was a total save if you forget to bring an extra pair of clothes!! The only Nit picky thing i can say is that it is an older house, but that gives it the feel that goes with a Real Beach house."

  • Great place to stay!

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay. I loved watching the tides and the fact that it was off the beaten path. The set up worked especially well since I was chaperoning my daughter's senior spring break and living with a bunch of teens can make you a bit crazy, but the huge master suite enabled me and my friend who came with to keep our sanity and some distance from the kids. If you're traveling to the area in spring and fall there are biting gnats and noseeums that are really bad so remember to bring spray or plan to buy some locally. Also, the AC for the main part of the house is not set to kick on until over 74 degrees. Given that we're from Michigan that is a bit higher than we're generally comfortable with. The kids didn't really mind tho as it was still getting down into the 50's-60's at night so the place cooled off. The master has its own AC system which was awesome. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Definitely well enough to handle everything we chose to cook. I hated having to throw away food when we left though. It'd be awesome to have some place to donate leftover groceries that won't survive a 16 hour car ride home. Manager responded on 4/15/2015: M~ We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at Sea~Esta. There is a food pantry on Tybee that will take non-perishable items. We will be sure to get that info to our guests. If you make a future trip to Tybee, give us a call. ~TTVR"

  • Excellent place for a big family!

"Your home was amazing! The loction was perfect, we walked everywhere. There were 14 of us including some elderly parents. The guest apartment on the ground floor was perfect for them. The beds were very comfortable and the place was well taken care of and clean. I think the kitchen was brand new, the appliances still had some packing labels (we removed them). We had a small problem with the washing machine which was fixed right away by the property manager (it was also brand new, but they people that put it in never plugged it into the outlet! No big deal). We can't wait to come back next summer. Thank you, TR."

  • Extraordinary home - and Hosts!

"We booked our first family (of 16) vacation with Sue and Jay at the Tranquility House and WOW - it was fantastic! Everything was perfect, down to the super comfy bedding, plentiful linens, and well equipped kitchen. Our grandkids really loved the on site pool and we loved being able to lounge and enjoy watching them have a blast. The walk to the beach was great and only one short block away. We spent alot of time there. Our only regret is that we didn't look through all of the beach chairs, coolers, etc that were available to us earlier in the week. We found that there was EVERYTHING you could ever wish for and then some but this was on Thursday and we were leaving on Saturday. That was our own fault because Sue did an outstanding job of listing everthing on the website. My kids kept saying "Wow, they thought of everything!" I'm sure our next beach vacation, we'll be in touch with Sue and Jay to book this wonderful, amazing, beautiful home of theirs once again! You can't go wrong!"
