"We recently spent a week in Annie Laurie cottage on St Simon Island. The house is even more beautiful than the photos and was immaculate upon our arrival. The location is superb as well with the beach just a short walk away. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!"

"We rented this house for a ladies' week-long getaway. It's a lovely home in a nice neighborhood--five minute easy walk to the beach. The beds/rooms were very comfortable and considering 2 people in our party had had bone/joint surgery in the past year, the elevator was extremely convenient for luggage and shopping bags! AC worked well. The house was clean and well kept--the decks were amazing for evening drinks and knitting or chatting. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, dishes, and glasses. There was a minor problem with the stove, which was replaced, and the plumbing, which was repaired. The owner was nice and good about communication. The price is reasonable for the amenities and location, and it's most helpful to have a laundry right in the house. We also appreciated that this house has 4 parking spaces (most have only two). Not a criticism--just advice--if you have children, be careful to show them how to use the elevator accordion door, which can pinch fingers if you aren't aware of how to use it. And this has nothing to do with the house, but the neighborhood pools are quite small, plus no one seemed to notice that one was for "families with young children" and the other was not. Not that important--We spent most of our days on the beach, anyway, which was great. Travel Tip: Rent an umbrella and chairs from the nice fellows a few condos south--for a few days' rental and a gratuity, they'll set everything up for you. :)"

"We spent a week at Seagate Cottage with six adults and two children (ages five and nine) and already we cannot wait to go back! All of our expectations for the house and its location were exceeded. Seagate is in excellent condition but doesn't feel overly fussy or pristine; the decor is just right for the beachy setting, and we felt very much at ease in the space, making full use of the kitchen and getting comfortable in the living room. The house had everything we needed, from fluffy beach towels to cooking implements. The single, very minor issue we brought to the manager's attention (a broken cabinet hinge) was fixed immediately. Patrick and his maintenance team were easily reachable and immediately responsive throughout our stay, whenever we had questions. Thoughtful touches in the house also included a stack of local restaurant menus and many recommendations for activities -- although with the pool just a few steps away and the beach a stone's throw beyond that, we didn't need much more to do! The pools are very well-maintained and even though there were lots of people staying in the Coastal Cottages, the pool area rarely felt crowded. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the Cottages are well-located close to running/biking paths, the Lighthouse, and town. Seagate is as close as you can get to the beach and pool, yet it was very quiet and private. We loved all of the balconies, the views, and the roof deck. The master suite on the top floor is especially notable, like something out of a magazine. We hope to be back sometime soon!"

"This is a great house, and it worked perfectly for our family of 6. Our kids loved all the games in the living room, and the jukebox and neon lobster were their favorites. :) The rooftop balcony was a great place to see fireworks on the 4th of July, and the location of the house was great for getting to the beach or taking a dip in the pool. We loved all the decor, and the third floor master suite was a plus. Patrick was also great and very helpful. We had a wonderful week!"
