  • A Fantasy Vacation Cottage

"The Annie Laurie Cottage has been designed with a multitude of well conceived special details at every turn to take your stay out of the ordinary and into unforgettable for adults and children alike. Honestly the wonderful pictures on the website had us excited about how nice the house would be and it was even better. Unique places and views have been created throughout the house. (What child could forget the little porthole window in their bunk that woke them up with sunshine in the morning?) Little things like well labeled light switches and drawers, quality cutlery, utensils, small appliances, plush towels . . . All add up to a calming relaxing stay. We felt pampered every moment from the sunrise on the roof deck till we were snuggled in the high bed watching a favorite movie or reading ourselves to sleep. All of the other wonderful things about the location and amenities of Cottage Coast Lane complete the sense of "escape from the ordinary" that Annie Laurie provides."

  • Greatest 3 days!

"When we drove in to the parking space..it was so accessible I was surprised..Right on the main road it seemed and across from the beautiful sunsets on the marsh and a active walk bike sidewalk...and down a driveway to the glorious Atlantic. Opening the door to such a clean condo and as well as a welcome note to us. Besides the wonderful things I mentioned above..I want to say..I felt like I was in a beach home where someone loved the beach, ST. Simons and shared it with us. I have rented many spaces at Beaches and your's was generous and trusting in that it was so usable. I had brought soap towels, paper .....and you really had it all. Thank you..I loved walking to beach in am with my cup of coffee..special time of day..The beach was so clean and people were so respectful of it's use. The location was so great..quiet for us in the unit and the world right outside. St. Simons is so useable. flat, great walking biking, restaurants, downtown ,etc. Thank you for sharing. I felt blessed to have gotten your condo. A friend from Athens had the unit right behind yours.. I am thinking how i can make the 5 hr. drive less.."

  • Beautiful Home...Fantastic Family Vacay!

"A last minute getaway turned into a mini-vacay! This home is everything we could have expected & more! We arrived at night but Kay's instructions to get in were excellent. The home has all the amenities right there....the pool, the view from widow's peak, the beach only steps away made for an all out great time...no need to leave for anything once you shop for food and beverages. The only thing I would say was and issue was that the pool guy was suppose to come turn on the heater for the pool that afternoon but didn't show up until that evening but that was a molehill in the grand scheme of this wonderful weekend. So much so, we decided to stay another day. The owner, Kay was a real peach. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your well kept & beautifully decorated beach home! We will visit again & I would definitely recommend this property!!!"

  • Love the Peace and Quiet

"Extremely child friendly and spacious. The location was nice and quiet. The pool area was nice and a short drive to the beach. The owners provide the renters with a wide range of goods to use while on the island. Owner was real quick to answer emails."

Demere Landing Travel Tips

Rent a Full Home at Demere Landing House Rentals

St. Simons Island vacation rentals can provide you with a vacation that feels like you never left home...literally. Demere Landing house rentals give you a luxurious home instead of a cold hotel room. The stress is immediately relieved as you feel like part of a neighborhood. The new neighborhood is St. Simons Island with oaks covered in Spanish moss and an ocean with pristine beaches waiting for you. You get the best of both worlds: the comfort of home and a stretch of beach not far from your house.

Off to Mallery Street and Iguana's for Shrimp and Scallops

Just because you are in a house to die for, doesn't mean you have to cook.Demere Landing beach rentals existto please you in more ways than one. Its location is great for food on Mallery Street. All is created for you and there is no better place on the East Coast than a restaurant that serves lightly breaded shrimp and scallops on a porch cooled by a ceiling fan. The menu is wide and the outdoor seating is fun. Iguana's is certainly not the only restaurant on Mallery. Demere Landing house rentals place you near Blue Water Bistro, a waterfront eatery that serves large portions of beautifully created dishes of seafood, poultry, lamb, beef, and, of course, pasta.

Go to the Galleries after Dinner

If you are too stuffed to walk right away, you can go back to your Demere Landing beach rentals and take a load off. Once you get the edge off dinner and can move again, find the art galleries. There are a half dozen galleries on the island showing anything from carved teak from Thailand to portraits created by professional local artists. You can commission a portrait of you or your cat! The options for entertainment are endless.
