"A wonderful Victorian Cottage located in the hub of the Village. We could walk to the shops local attractions and restaurants. The Cottage was nicely furnished in Period Furniture, Great Front Porch, comfy Feather beds, lots of towels and a loaded Kitchen .
The Island is Beautiful with Huge trees covered with moss and Vines, I was waiting for Tarzan to swing out of the trees. Lots to do and see. We stayed a week, Yes we would go again."

"First time stay on SSI and it was wonderful. We had a ladies weekend for 3 days to relax. Their were 7 of us and we did not feel cramped for space at all. The house is very nice, clean, and has lots of room. The owners were very accommodating and made the whole process and experience a breeze. I would definitely come back and suggest this for anyone with a large group! We walked almost every where we went the only time we drove was for dinner one night other wise the location is wonderful. Very safe feeling and friendly!"

"We loved everything about this cottage. St Simons Island is a great location and we were able to explore other islands from here even making down to Amelia Island and Okefenokee Swamp (strongly recommend). It was always a thrill though to return back to base and enjoy the comfort of Tuckaway Cottage. Lovely decor with the most comfy couch ever, great TVs, well stocked kitchen (except for spoons!) and a great vibe. We only wish we'd had better weather to enjoy the bbq and deck. And did I mention the scent of the flowering lemon trees? Heaven."

"I renovate old and historic homes in middle Georgia and frequently visit Saint Simons Island for vacations. This is a spacious and very comfortable cottage. It is an old 1940's beach cottage with warm, time-worn hardwood floors and quirky antique doors. The bathrooms are updated and the house is well suited to relaxing inside, or outside on the deck. By car or by golf cart, you can be in the village, or at the lighthouse very quickly. Equally located between Massengale beach in one direction and Redfern village in the other direction. A great house for children and pets. Fantastic owner. Heather lives in coastal Georgia and is very responsive should you have any problems or questions."
