  • Charming Beach Cottage

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The home has so much character & charm with plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect too, a short walk to the beach and the village. We enjoyed relaxing on the screen porch after a long day of house hunting and time at the beach."

  • Girls Week on the Beach

"We make several trips during the year to SSI always staying at Citrus Cottage. This trip the "girls" enjoyed the wonderful weather biking, beach walking (X2 daily), sight seeing and eating our way across the island. We enjoy the salt water pool and the roomy house. The house is located biking distance to most places including East Beach, Village and Redfern Village. The bedrooms were freshly painted since our last visit and the house just great. As Arnold said in one of his movies "I'll be back"."

  • Best of all worlds!

"This adorable 1940's updated cottage was everything I wanted for my two-week vacation. The hardwood floors and laundry/storage room made cleaning sand from grandchildren a breeze. The upstairs bedroom and bath provided privacy. Towels and linens were good quality and plentiful. The three or four block walk to the beach was very convenient and usually empty. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, glassware and pots/pans. The outdoor patio looked inviting, although it was too hot to enjoy in August. The neighborhood was quiet, very friendly and safe. There is much to do on St. Simon's - the beach, of course, but also history tours and great restaurants. Owner was wonderful!"

  • Comfortable resting spot in the center of activities

"The home is well furnished, offers plenty of space for a family, is in the center of the activities the island offers and I would no doubt recommend it. The house is about a mile from the village which offers a number of restaurants and shops. It's about a mile from the beach near the King and Prince and is about a mile from the center of the island. We enjoyed our stay and would no doubt return on another visit to St. Simons. A few other notes: the master bath is impressive, they have a number of bikes and all the space you could possibly need."
