  • perfect getaway

"This lovely mountain cabin had everything we needed for our week vacation in the North Georgia area--spacious and clean with attracive furnishings; great lake view from the deck; trails right ouside our door and close driving distance to many state parks and scenic areas. We enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks provided with the cabin and having evening campfires In the fire pit after watching beautiful sunsets. We were only 45 minutes away from whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River. Raven Cliffs was our favorite hiking trail with a lot of scenic waterfalls. There were several little villages and towns to shop in within a 15-mile radius. We look forward to returning to this home away from home."

  • A very Great Christmas memory with fly fishing

"I gave my husband and 2 teenage boys fly fishing gear for Christmas with a awesome place to stay (Soque River Forest home) It was amazing, the beautiful surroundings, rushing river sound and fishing in your back yard. We did call an awesome guide to come in and give a day of lessons then went off to fish another area. I would highly recommend the Honey Pot for all ages. It was really clean upon arrival and very welcoming accommodations. Thank you for sharing your home with us......."

  • Perfect Quaint Mount Get-Away

"We so appreciated the owner's attention to detail in making this a place that is well supplied with the comforts of just what you would need and want for your get-away. My sister and I were only here for a short stay as we were in the are for a wedding. However, we wanted to sit in the window seat and drink coffee, listening to the mountain stream bubble by. My 11 yr old nephew loved being able to walk out the back door and fish. The coffee set up made for a terrific cup of coffee, very important to a coffee drinker. The furniture was comfortable. Linens were fresh and well stocked. The cabin was very accommodating. Due to the rain we had very little time to enjoy the outdoors. Between swings, horseshoes, the stream, back deck and overall large yard we would have loved to enjoy more time outside. Thank you so much for helping to make this a wonderful weekend for us. Your hospitality is very apparent!"
