"What a lovely cabin in the mountains where the air is fresh, and the only sounds you hear at night are the ones that nature provides. The cabin is well-appointed with comfortable furniture. I can imagine how cozy it would feel in the winter with a fire roaring. The kitchen has everything you would need for a simple breakfast or a gourmet meal. The bedrooms are a good size, and there is plenty of room to store your belongings. There is a wonderful porch with a swing, an ideal spot to spoon with your sweetheart. Or, you can sit an enjoy a glass of wine on one of the two rocking chairs. There is also a table out there, where you could have your breakfast or an evening meal. The area is wonderful for hiking. We were there for ten days and were very impressed with the abundance of walks of all levels of difficulty. Even for a small town, Clayton boasts some excellent restaurants. Our favorites were Rumor Hazit, the Laurel Bar and Fortify. Grapes and Beans Cafe is also a great place for lunch. If you like touring vineyards, there are three in the area. We highly recommend this area and this wonderful cabin, which has been lovingly cared for."

"What can I say? Loved it, loved it, loved it. Cabin is beautiful and much bigger than it looks. We enjoyed playing in the creek with the nice dogs that visited us. Enjoyed playing games, eating and some drinks out on the large picnic table on the porch. The owners even provided a copy of the movie Deliverance. What a bonus. Very convenient for our trips to the Chattooga River and Tallulah gorge. Hiked down the gorge and to Bridal Veil Falls. Slid down the waterfall. What a beautiful place that was. Highly recommend it. The Ingles has everything your heart desires to eat. Produce looks so much better than what I can get in Atlanta. Overall, we had a blast. We are thinking of making this a yearly thing. I will return to this house again maybe as soon as fall!"
