  • Just What We Needed!

"Excellent location on lake! So quiet and peaceful back in your own little cove. Great swimming and boating dock with nothing but woods across the cove. This week after Labor Day was ideal with no one on the lake at all, even on the weekend, but the water temperature was still great. Hartwell and grocery stores are so close and such beautiful farmland coming and going. House is so well equipped we didn't even bother unpacking our kitchen necessities we brought with us and gladly replenished what we used up. Furniture and beds were more than adequate and the decor was so nice and relaxed, especially the screen porch. So nice for rainy moring coffee looking at the lake, watching the ducks and fish jumping. Our stay could not have been better! Thanks so much!"

  • Perfect House for Large Gathering

"I recently rented the entire house for a family gathering for my daughters wedding in Dahlonega. Best spent money ever. The lower level is especially inviting to gather in and talk and laugh. Great Kitchen island to gather around. The upstairs for us seemed to lend itself to be more for some alone or quiet time. We had 9 people so the house was full but didn't seem overcrowded. There are 4 large size bedrooms with the 5th being what I would term a large closet (Had bunk beds). I don't think I ever received more comment from family and quests on what a great idea renting the house was. Plenty of room for football and other outside activities as well as plenty of room just to relax and sit. Wish we had more time to just chill and enjoy the privacy of the house as well as the hot tub and hiking. I will add however that it is quite a hike if you want to walk into town, mostly up hill on the way. We found it easier to drive and with a little patience you can find free parking off the main square. I would most definitely rent this house again in a heartbeat."

  • Lovely, and Private

"This is a secluded, large cabin. There was only 2 of us, with 3 dogs and 2 large dog crates. The Hot tub was clean and the property was well taken care of. Everything worked and it got a little cold during this weekend and the heater kept it nice and warm. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend."

  • Blue Valley Lodge

"The home in the mountains of Sky Valley is perfect! It is prettier than the pictures and very clean and well-maintained inside and out. The yard which includes a water feature is beautiful with native and non-native flowers. The kitchen was well stocked with good pots and pans, knives, muffin tins, casserole dishes, etc. The owner was extremely helpful in every conversation I had with her. I would definitely recommend this property to others and will rent it again if I am in the area. The home was close to many waterfalls, trails, shops, etc. It was easy to get to Dillard and Clayton, GA, and Highlands and Cashiers, NC. My family and our friends really enjoyed the house. It was very roomy, but cozy, and very comfortable!"
