  • BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING!

"I vacationed here with 6 of my girlfriends for a bachelorette weekend. It was absolutely amazing! It wasn't your typical bachelorette weekend full of craziness, but that isn't quite what we were going for anyways. We were looking for a place to spend some time together and have fun. We arrived to the house in the evening and were so incredibly surprised to find how clean and nicely decorated it was. The view was absolutely breathtaking! Our first night, we sat around catching up, relaxing around the fireplace. There was so much space for everyone to sleep and the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable/cozy. The next day, we went to Wolf Mountain where we enjoyed a delicious lunch outside with a gorgeous view of the mountains, then proceeded on to a delectable wine tasting, which was lots of fun. The wine was great! The second day, we just relaxed at the house. The owners of the house gave us the contact information of a masseuse that came out to the house and gave us all individual massages on the balcony of the house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Then, we went down by the creek and parked ourselves in the lounge chairs, reminiscing and enjoying the tranquil sounds of the running water with the beautiful scenery that surrounded us. There was a huge fire pit as well! We made dinner that night at the house and were very happy to find that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Our last night, we went out on the town. Downtown Dahlonega is a super cute little town with lots of great shops and places to visit. We had dinner at Corkscrew (which was recommended by the owners of the house) and it was amazing! Then we celebrated some more at a bar called Shenanigans, which was a fun place for all the locals to hang out. All in all, it was an amazing trip. We were so incredibly happy with the house and all of its amenities. We keep talking about how we are going to plan another trip to go back because we had such a great time and really loved the house/property. I highly recommend this place as a vacation spot if you are looking to have a nice and relaxing get-a-way. Great for families and friends! Would go back in a heartbeat! :)"

  • Best wedding Ever

"We had an amazing time. We had our wedding party come in the week of and we enjoyed the property so much! We had a great time roasting marsh mellows by the fire and enjoyed swimming in the river. The falls were so beautiful. We had about 80 people at our wedding and every single person said the enjoyed themselves and that the property was so beautiful. The property owner was very friendly and worked with us to make our event special. My wife and I will definitely stay there again and can't wait for our next getaway to the Monarch Lodge!"

  • Five Star

"Five Star. Great location, everything you need, very comfortable. We really enjoyed our week long stay at Carson’s Run. It is close to hiking, the Woody Gap Trailhead is only 4 miles away, and there are gorgeous waterfall hikes at Amicalola State Park, DeSoto Falls, and Vogel State Park. We also visited the Wolf Mountain Vineyards only 5 miles from Carson’s Run. The food, service, wine and views were spectacular. The town of Dahlonega is also close and has lots of restaurants and other fun places to see. Make sure to stop by the Visitor’s Center. We did have a problem with the Internet connection. However, Steve (the owner) was quick to place a service call. We worked around the problem using our cellphones (a really fast 4G connection) and the in town wireless."

  • Renters

"Good friends from SC and we enjoyed three fabulous nights at this mountain home. The house was extremely comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the evening was wonderful. We could not have asked for anything more to make us feel at home. Having this lovely home to return to after a busy day of seeing the sights was wonderful. I would recommend this rental highly."
