"We were a three family group coming from Atlanta and Athens with kids ranging from 9 to 19. It was an easy drive from all locations and amazing to be so tucked back into the road and right on the Etowah- beautiful situated house with all manner of porches- coffee on one over looking the river, dinner on one over looking the stream and a small upstairs one for star gazing. It was a treat to be out of cell service AND still be able to watch The Dogs play on Saturday. Plenty of space for cooking and eating and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The House was super clean which we really appreciated. Not much hiking done but lots of time fishing and creek walking. The road was good and even though we didn't need to it was a short car ride to anything we might have forgotten to bring. Can't wait til next year."

"We arrived Halloween night for a friend´s wedding weekend and used the written directions to find the house. We turned around a couple times because we couldn't see the house number in the dark, but it is the last house on the right down the very steep driveway. It was beyond beautiful. Everything was very clean. We had the privilege of staying the master suite which was enormous. It has a walk in closet, a huge bathroom with tons of mirrors, a jet tub, and the most incredible shower you`ll ever have. It overlooks the river and the fall foliage was beautiful. there is a bon fire area which is great and a tree house hot tub a short walk away. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had a shortage of towels but we should have brought some of our own. It was difficult to maneuver in and out of the driveway with multiple cars because the turn around area near the house is a bit small. We figured it out though. It would have been convenient to have more than 2 keys as well because we had more than one group in and out of the house all weekend. But seriously none of that was even a problem because the house was so awesome. I would absolutely love to stay here again. Can I go this weekend? :-) We loved walking around downtown Dahlonega enjoying the restaurants and shops. I will be day dreaming and raving about this place for years."

"Just returned home from our stay at Randall' s cabin. We had a blast!! This is one of the coolest cabins we've stayed in! It was very well stocked, only needed to bring our groceries. Loved the decor!! We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit outside for all three nights we stayed. There was plenty of room for the six of us, plenty of towels and tons of dishes and utensils!! Really liked lighting candles in all of the cool votive/candle holders, inside and especially outside!! Just a short drive to Dahlonega for Gold Rush Days.
Randall was very easy to deal with! We will definitely be renting again and recommending this awesome cabin to ALL of our friends and relatives!!
Thanks again, Randall!! Your place rocks!!"

"We have stayed in many North Georgia cabins and can tell you this was by far the best. Even cabins that were a lot more expensive.
The location is perfect if you are looking do some hikes to the many nearby waterfalls. It is near enough to enjoy the beautiful town but far enough out in the woods that you have a complete nature experience.
The view is much better than the photos on the site show. The house has the feel of a warm cozy home. Not a rental. We loved the fire place with real wood that was supplied. The colder days that we spent inside were still fun."
