"This was our sixth visit and again a great time. We had 6 family members this trip: my husband, daughter, her husband, and our 2 granddaughters plus myself. One of the new things was a kayak trip on the Little Tennessee River. We were at the gem mining place in Otto and they do kayak trips dropping you in there on the property and picking you up about 3 hours later. The girls age 5 and 8 loved it. We also went to the kudzu factory which is quite unique and the metal art place on 441. We did breakfast at Bella's which is always yummy. We stopped by the Highland's auction house after a trip to Kilwin's. Thanks Mandy and Dennis for another wonderful week."

"Quiet and secluded enough to get away from it all but close enough to town to get anything you want. The cabin is well decorated to give it that rustic feeling yet retains all the amenities of modern day life. The wrap-around-porch with a swing was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon sitting. They had everything you could want at the cabin -- just bring food and you're set. I definitely recommend this cabin and hope we get the chance to return. Some of the attractions we enjoyed were Black Mountain State Park, antique window shopping and scenic drives. We went into North Carolina, which is only about a thirty minute drive, and visited a few other parks."

"My family doesn't have a lot of experience with renting houses/cabins so we weren't really sure what to expect, but we are sure that this stay would have easily exceeded those expectations. Peter came to us right away at the visitor's center and led us to our wonderful retreat for the next couple of days. We weren't deterred by the lots of rain we had... that just led to great mornings sitting on the screened porch eating our breakfast and just talking to each other.
The cabin was spotless and very well maintained. I was appreciative of the fresh baked cookies, the fresh flowers and the book that showed all of the area attractions.
We'll stay here again in a heartbeat when the situation presents itself again!
