  • Cozy Braveheart Retreat

"The "Braveheart" cabin was extremely clean and cozy, and the beds were comfy. The front porch was a great place to grill and hang out, and the hot tub on the back porch was clean and relaxing! Great location on the outskirts of Helen and close by to a tasty restaurant (The Front Porch) that served excellent breakfast and dinner. Beautiful, secluded lot! Furthermore, we unintentionally left items behind, and the owners were nice enough to ship them to our home for us! Can't beat that type of southern hospitality! We will definitely be returning to Braveheart! :-)"

  • Amazing Cabin!

"This was the perfect cabin for our weekend getaway in Helen. Jerry and Susan were easy to contact and wonderful to book with. This cabin was immaculately clean and well stocked! The hot tub was a great, relaxing bonus! Even our lab enjoyed investigating the surrounding woods. My husband and I would reccomend Bear Crossing for a couple or family looking for a beautiful place to stay. The cabin was decorated for Christmas while we were there, and it was an absolute joy."

  • Nice

"This is an excellent location, between tubing and the water park. This is a very clean rental with great amenities, the pictures don't do it justice. This rental doesn't have river front but the river is only a few steps away. This is a quiet area of town at night. Would have no problem staying here again."

  • A lovely little hideaway

"The fact that it's taken me 3 days to write this review is a testament to how much I needed this getaway in the first place! Kate was a great host, responsive and flexible from the start and the cabin was exactly what I was looking for. I initially didn't like the idea of being in a golf community as I didn't think it would be quiet and secluded enough, but this little spot was just perfect. The decks are private, the street is super quiet and the cabin itself was clean, in good repair and very well appointed. My little dog and I enjoyed the 3 nights we spent there and I would absolutely recommend it as a vacation spot. Thank you, Kate!"
