Wonderful Place! Cozy, Comfy, Quiet and Near All Our Destinations.
"The cabin is clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the décor is charming throughout. Quiet, comfy and cozy. Every direction you drive from here is beautiful. On our first full day we drove west to GA 348 and did a 2 mi. mountain hike on the Appalachian Trail http://bit.ly/1JeZaDj, then to Anna Ruby Falls, then walking and dinner in Helen at Bigg Daddys. On our second day we drove east and hiked Tallulah Gorge. Driving back we went thru the community of Lakemont and wound around the east side of Lake Rabun and what a surprise and treat! Beautiful lake vistas and adorable homes hugging the hill sides. The Mark of the Potter is just down the road from the cabin, directly on the Soquee River. It is worth a visit for the many area attraction brochures they have at the front counter, not to mention the quaint ceramics. And for .25 cents you can feed the trout from their rustic overhanging balcony. We wish we had had more time to tool around the area and see more sights. We highly recommend this wonderful place."

"Our family had a wonderful time at this house. There were 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room for all. We enjoyed using all the water equipment that included tubes, kayaks and a paddleboat. The deck on top of the boathouse was a perfect shady place to relax and read a book. We loved the location off Dick's Creek and the cove area with friendly neighbors. The house had many private spots to read a book, play games or put a puzzle together. We loved building a fire each night to make smores. It was so relaxing we hated to have our vacation end. The owner was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole rental process. I would highly recommend this paradise house!"

"This is our second year renting this same property. On arrival, the property was clean & immaculate. Everything worked as advertised. You know how some properties are strictly rental properties - they only have the bare minimums with silverware / appliances. Not this property, it has all the extras you will need for your stay.
Located in a secluded cove off Lake Burton, its a restful way to recharge your batteries.
The owner is extremely responsive. We encountered a small problem during our stay that was fixed quickly & efficiently to allow us to continue to enjoy our vacation. We will come back to this property."
