  • Charming lake house

"I had a delightful stay in this cozy and charming lake house. It was very comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need. The view of the lake is spectacular and it was so nice to sit by the water. I would love to stay here again and to experience the lake In summer months. Great place, lots of room. I highly recommend it!"

  • Wonderful Place! Cozy, Comfy, Quiet and Near All Our Destinations.

"The cabin is clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the décor is charming throughout. Quiet, comfy and cozy. Every direction you drive from here is beautiful. On our first full day we drove west to GA 348 and did a 2 mi. mountain hike on the Appalachian Trail http://bit.ly/1JeZaDj, then to Anna Ruby Falls, then walking and dinner in Helen at Bigg Daddys. On our second day we drove east and hiked Tallulah Gorge. Driving back we went thru the community of Lakemont and wound around the east side of Lake Rabun and what a surprise and treat! Beautiful lake vistas and adorable homes hugging the hill sides. The Mark of the Potter is just down the road from the cabin, directly on the Soquee River. It is worth a visit for the many area attraction brochures they have at the front counter, not to mention the quaint ceramics. And for .25 cents you can feed the trout from their rustic overhanging balcony. We wish we had had more time to tool around the area and see more sights. We highly recommend this wonderful place."

  • GREAT HOME GREAT VIEWS

"I HAVE BEEN GOING TO LAKE BURTON ON VACATION FOR OVER 40 YEARS. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST VACATION HOMES WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND WAS GLAD TO ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS. WE LOVED THE VIEWS FROM THE DECK !!! THE HOME WAS THREE LEVELS AND GAVE PRIVACY FOR US AND OUR TWO KIDS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE OPEN FEEL OF THE KITCHEN/ FAMILY ROOM WHERE WE COULD ALL GATHER TOGETHER. WE LOOK FOWARD TO STAYING THERE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. I RECOMMEND THIS HOME TO ANYONE."
