"You can't get any closer to the lake than this! The pictures on this rental are right on, but you have to see the house, proximity to the water, and amenities for yourself, to truly appreciate all that this property has to offer...It is much larger than it looks in the pics., the stereo system is wired to speakers outside (so you can float and listen to whatever you like), truly relaxing! This house has been remodeled, all of the bathrooms are beautifully done, and the kitchen is spectacular. Ken and Terry have made a beautiful home here on Lake Burton and this home offers everything you will need for the most relaxing vacation. All you need to bring is Sunscreen, Bathing Suit, flip flops, food & drink of choice! Once you get there, you won't want to leave. The owners are so very nice and easy to work with. No Doubt, my family will be returning to this cottage in the future. If you have never been to Lake Burton, the water is so clear and clean, truly a must to add to your Bucket List."

"Our extended family of 15 spent 4 wonderful days at Lake Burton. We had more than enough space. The kitchen is a dream and has everything you need. The beds are super comfy, the decor makes it feel like home. Hope to rent again in the summer."

Wonderful Place! Cozy, Comfy, Quiet and Near All Our Destinations.
"The cabin is clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the décor is charming throughout. Quiet, comfy and cozy. Every direction you drive from here is beautiful. On our first full day we drove west to GA 348 and did a 2 mi. mountain hike on the Appalachian Trail http://bit.ly/1JeZaDj, then to Anna Ruby Falls, then walking and dinner in Helen at Bigg Daddys. On our second day we drove east and hiked Tallulah Gorge. Driving back we went thru the community of Lakemont and wound around the east side of Lake Rabun and what a surprise and treat! Beautiful lake vistas and adorable homes hugging the hill sides. The Mark of the Potter is just down the road from the cabin, directly on the Soquee River. It is worth a visit for the many area attraction brochures they have at the front counter, not to mention the quaint ceramics. And for .25 cents you can feed the trout from their rustic overhanging balcony. We wish we had had more time to tool around the area and see more sights. We highly recommend this wonderful place."
