"Such a delight! This lovely home, filled with the owner's artwork and neat antiques, is perfect. It is on a peaceful cove with a long view of Lake Burton, which, by the way, is the best lake in Georgia. The owners are great to work with. All home information and the directions were precise and detailed. I loved this special place and we did not want to leave. We will be back! ( I forgot, this home was immaculate! ) ( One more thing: the view from the master bedroom is amazing...what a wonderful way to start the day... )"

"Wonderful vacation rental! We had a party of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) and it fit us great! We never felt crowded, the bedrooms were spread out and private. The home is state of the art everything. The write up by the owner is very accurate. Lake Burton is fantastic and the boathouse is wonderful. the one pleasant surprise was the location of the floating dock. The picture makes it look like it could be in a shaded cove where swimming could be a bit cooler. Not so. Lots of sunshine all day long. The one thing that caught us off guard is the distance from the house to the boathouse. It was a short walk down the hill and across the road. Not far, but don't expect the home to be right on the water like some of the homes in the area."

"This property is perfect for a weekend getaway! The house was beautiful and we walked to the Chophouse both nights for dinner overlooking the water. We brought our boat but you can easily rent one for a great price. Such a great deal for all that you have access to within walking distance!"

Wonderful Place! Cozy, Comfy, Quiet and Near All Our Destinations.
"The cabin is clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the décor is charming throughout. Quiet, comfy and cozy. Every direction you drive from here is beautiful. On our first full day we drove west to GA 348 and did a 2 mi. mountain hike on the Appalachian Trail http://bit.ly/1JeZaDj, then to Anna Ruby Falls, then walking and dinner in Helen at Bigg Daddys. On our second day we drove east and hiked Tallulah Gorge. Driving back we went thru the community of Lakemont and wound around the east side of Lake Rabun and what a surprise and treat! Beautiful lake vistas and adorable homes hugging the hill sides. The Mark of the Potter is just down the road from the cabin, directly on the Soquee River. It is worth a visit for the many area attraction brochures they have at the front counter, not to mention the quaint ceramics. And for .25 cents you can feed the trout from their rustic overhanging balcony. We wish we had had more time to tool around the area and see more sights. We highly recommend this wonderful place."
