  • Great Home!

"We just stayed there 3 nights, plenty of room for the 4 adults & 2 children we had, the views are wonderful from the decks, patio, also the living room & master bedroom, the place is well appointed & feels like you are home from the minute you walk in the door, Greg is great to deal with!"

  • Private but not Isolated

"If you a looking for a clean extremely comfortable and relaxing stay in the mountains then give this home serious consideration. Have a dog and like to walk in the mountains, then look no further. The cabin location is great and the drive to the cabin is easy. You will enjoy your privacy but not feel isolated . The views from the cabin are great and the walks up the mountain will provide an equally nice valley view of Young Harris. In the morning and evenings if you walk down the mountain road from the cabin you are likely to see deer. While the cabin is not large, the 2 bedrooms are good sized and the kitchen and main living area are more than adequate for couple or small family. The home is very clean and the pictures provide are an accurate portrayal. There are restaurants within an easy drive in Young Harris or a little further away in Hiawassee. Best find on this trip was the discovery of Crane Creek Valley Winery, which is just a very short 5 minute drive away. The wine and people are great and there are a lot of entertainment and special events. The owner was easy to work with including providing a prompt deposit refund on our return."

  • Great house! Fantastic location!

"Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Lake Chatuge is one the best in Georgia. Plenty of outdoor activities for everyone. Hiking, boating, kayaking, mountain biking, paragliding all in close proximity!"

  • Barbara

"Our stay at the cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. The cabin is exactly as pictured and is nicely decorated. We vacationed there with our 3 adult sons and their families. A total of of 8 adults and 3 children. The view is fantastic and everyone was comfortable for sleeping. Twins slept on mats on the floor and my grandson on the den couch. We had fun at night playing pool, games and just hanging out. First time up the hill is a little intimidating but you get used to it. We hung the Hummingbird feeder and that was a big hit for EVERYONE!! The tiny birds are so precious and will come to feed even if you are close by. As with any vacation we were sad to leave but I am sure we will always remember and talk about this trip in years to come. April is exceptional about getting back to you for any questions you might have. Thank you April for letting us use your lovely cabin!!!!"

Hiawassee Travel Tips

Hiawassee Vacation Rentals: Family Fun

Within the Blue Ridge Mountains, tucked along Georgia's borderline, is Hiawassee. This tiny town (the population doesn't even grace 900) is rich in charm and picturesque beauty. The past has marked it, however, as a fleeting destination; with travelers ignoring its offerings for the nearby cities of Atlanta or Charlotte. But the years have slowly yielded recognition and Hiawassee is becoming a favorite of families. Its adventures are many; its views are incomparable; and Hiawassee vacation rentals ensure that its price won't overwhelm.

Hiawassee Cabin Rentals: Nature, Afforded

Towering trees, the scent of earth, the stir of water and sand: such settings are often craved but rarely experienced. Hotels are shoved away from them, kept to the more suitable stone; and campgrounds cause more fretting than appreciation. But Lake Chatuge lodging instead seeks to offer rustic landscapes and budget-friendly costs. This is a family destination. It is therefore meant to be enjoyed. Indulge in spacious quarters and modern style, all while being surrounded by nature. It's the perfect combination.

Lake Chatuge Lodging: Fun is Found Again

Stroll from the comforts of Hiawassee cabin rentals and enter the wild. Visit first the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. This massive park sprawls almost 900,000 acres and offers hiking, observational posts and wildlife protection. Travel then to the Boundary Resort Marina, where you'll be able to rent pontoon boats and sail out onto the lake. Equipment fees will apply. Be amazed by Black Rock Mountain State Park and its 1,743 acres of cliffs and peaks. Journey then to the nearby Appalachian Trail and follow history. And battle the heat by seeking the lake itself. Swimming, fishing and more are all welcome.

Hiawassee Vacation Rentals: For Your Family and You

Holidays are no longer restricted to the city. They are instead blossoming in forests. Let Hiawassee cabin rentals offer a sanctuary for your budget this season, and a promise of thrills.

While planning a vacation trip to Northeast Mountains in Georgia you might want to consider additional lodging options in the following destinations: Blairsville vacation rentals, lodging in Clayton, Helen GA cabin rentals, Lake Burton or Lake Lanier rentals.
