  • Beautiful home, Great location

"My wife and I spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home. We've rented many vrbo homes and this one was one of the best. It was super clean, spacious, and was very well stocked. Many nice extra features such as a wonderful hot tub, gorgeous fenced in yard which is great if you have a dog, nice firepit, use of kayaks, bikes, water toys (extra minimal charge) and views of both mountains and lake. It was also so convenient to town and shopping, a three minute drive to the local Ingles. Inside the home there was a game room with a mini pool table and fussball game. The house had 4 TV's and the master bedroom also had a deck with the great views. With a lot of closet space and three bedrooms, it would be suitable for more than just one couple. This definitely has a quaint cottage feel. There is much to do in the area which includes waterfall hikes, kayaking, boating, tubing, winery tours, eating at nice restaurants, etc. Catherine, the owner, was very accessible over the internet and very helpful. We would definitely recommend the Waterside Cottage to anyone looking for wonderful mountain/lake/in town getaway."

  • Awesome way to spend Thanksgiving

"What a relaxing way to spend Thanksgiving. The views will take your breath away. We even got snow on Thanksgiving morning and it was so nice to have a nice warm fireplace to help warm things up. Monica and Ed have thought of everything to help make our stay special. Attention to detail was great. Loved having everything in the kitchen to make cooking a breeze. We are already making plans to another visit soon. Monica and Ed, thanks again for everything. :-)"

  • Incredible Views

"Pictures match what you see when you get there, other than now there is a great hot-tub! House was comfortable, clean, safe/secure, everything worked properly, and beautiful views of the lake. Everyone we had interactions, e.g. owner(s), local property management office, etc, were very pleasant and helpful. Great small town, with some seriously good food. The lake is beautiful. Easy travel to other places in NE Georgia, and NW North Carolina, even Tennessee."

Hiawassee Travel Tips

Hiawassee Vacation Rentals: Family Fun

Within the Blue Ridge Mountains, tucked along Georgia's borderline, is Hiawassee. This tiny town (the population doesn't even grace 900) is rich in charm and picturesque beauty. The past has marked it, however, as a fleeting destination; with travelers ignoring its offerings for the nearby cities of Atlanta or Charlotte. But the years have slowly yielded recognition and Hiawassee is becoming a favorite of families. Its adventures are many; its views are incomparable; and Hiawassee vacation rentals ensure that its price won't overwhelm.

Hiawassee Cabin Rentals: Nature, Afforded

Towering trees, the scent of earth, the stir of water and sand: such settings are often craved but rarely experienced. Hotels are shoved away from them, kept to the more suitable stone; and campgrounds cause more fretting than appreciation. But Lake Chatuge lodging instead seeks to offer rustic landscapes and budget-friendly costs. This is a family destination. It is therefore meant to be enjoyed. Indulge in spacious quarters and modern style, all while being surrounded by nature. It's the perfect combination.

Lake Chatuge Lodging: Fun is Found Again

Stroll from the comforts of Hiawassee cabin rentals and enter the wild. Visit first the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. This massive park sprawls almost 900,000 acres and offers hiking, observational posts and wildlife protection. Travel then to the Boundary Resort Marina, where you'll be able to rent pontoon boats and sail out onto the lake. Equipment fees will apply. Be amazed by Black Rock Mountain State Park and its 1,743 acres of cliffs and peaks. Journey then to the nearby Appalachian Trail and follow history. And battle the heat by seeking the lake itself. Swimming, fishing and more are all welcome.

Hiawassee Vacation Rentals: For Your Family and You

Holidays are no longer restricted to the city. They are instead blossoming in forests. Let Hiawassee cabin rentals offer a sanctuary for your budget this season, and a promise of thrills.

While planning a vacation trip to Northeast Mountains in Georgia you might want to consider additional lodging options in the following destinations: Blairsville vacation rentals, lodging in Clayton, Helen GA cabin rentals, Lake Burton or Lake Lanier rentals.
