  • Rental Review

"We had a very nice time while staying at this property. The property is in a perfect location (a little hard to find but keep going until the end of the street) with a beautiful lot and nice boat dock and jet ski "lilly pads" for 2 ski's. There are 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably with upstairs and downstairs kitchens and bathroom. The furniture is very comfortable and the internet connections works very well. I intend to rent this place again!"

  • Awesome stay!!

"Just wanted to let the owners and everyone else know that this little cottage was a perfect getaway for our little family. It had everything we needed. We live in Cumming, so on Saturday it was perfect to have a few friends over to grill out and swim. Our stay was cozy and we will definitely be renting this place again!"

  • Great people still exist!

"Oh what a weekend! After months of planning our long awaited friends trip, the day before arrival we came to find out that we had been scammed by a hacker and had no lake house reserved. As you can imagine, we were quite distraught and did not know where to turn. The owner Woody called me personally to apologize for the situation, and offered to help in any way that he could. Although Woody did not know me from a hole in the wall, he offered his other lake house (turned out it was booked) and he offered to call friends and property managers that he knew to find us a house. It is awesome to see that great people still exist! In the end, we were able to find another lake house that had a cancellation and our friends trip was fantastic! Even though we never got a chance to stay at this house, I can assure you that people with Woody's character do not come around often and I am positive that you will have a great stay if you visit his lake house. If I can offer any advice to future renters, please send your inquiries and all payment through the homeaway site and it's secure processes! Do not under any circumstances send payment through western union or paypal. If you receive an email claiming to be the owner, check the email address with the one on the homeaway site and/or call the phone number to double check. It sounds simple, but if an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Thank you Woody for turning around our weekend, you have 12 customers for life now!"

  • Just had the BEST vacation EVER!

"Can't tell you how perfect the house was. Spent a week here. What a lovely home and setting. There was something interesting to see in every room. The home was clean, spacious and oh, sooo comfortable! The listing was accurate. Anything you could possilby need was supplied. It was so peaceful and secluded, yet the location is perfect - close to anything you might want to do or visit. We did of course see many deer (and a red fox!) in the yard. We swam, drifted around on floats and fished off the dock! Spent tons of time on the wonderful deck, relaxing and grilling. Rented a Pontoon Boat, just 1 mile away at Gainesville Marina, and explored Lake Lanier and its many secluded islands. Took short side trips to wonderful quaint little towns, waterfalls, the mountains and panned for gold and gems (got some great gems). We definately needed to say longer. So much to do and see! We were only 5 family members, my husband and myself (60) my parents (80) and my daughter (40) and of course our little dog. The home was so big and perfect for all ages, that we are already planning to go back next summer with additional family members and stay a little longer! I highly recommed this property to anyone looking for a lake vacation."
