  • Fun & cozy!!

"A group of us went up for a girl's weekend and had a blast! The amenities were great and five of us slept very comfortably. We had drinks on the nice spacious deck and enjoyed playing pool by the fireplace in the evenings. The lake was a little chilly this time of year but we still enjoyed lounging on the dock. We will definitely be coming back!"

  • Wonderful Getaway

"My family and several friends spent a wonderful fall weekend at Chateau Lanier. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. We were running late for check in but Harold still waited patiently for us and gave us a tour of this immaculate home. I was quite impressed with how well this home is impeccability maintained. It is very unique and just a lot of fun to stay in. The kitchens were very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. The views of the lake from the home were simply breathtaking. Our second day we had a cold snap come through, but we found a lot to do for both the adults and kids inside. We had a foosball and ping-pong tournament and played several of the many board games the home provided. Sunday when the weather warmed up, we leased a boat from a nearby marina and really enjoyed the sights on the lake especially with the changing leaves. I highly recommend this place. You'll love it!!!"

  • A place to relax

"We stayed six nights at the "house in the trees" as it came to be known. Everything was excellent! Good communication from the property owner made for a good stay. The house was conveniently between Dawsonville and Dahlonega and very convenient to Gainesville Marina where we enjoyed a great day on the lake in a pontoon boat. Lake Lanier Canopy Tours provided a great zip line adventure, and Appalachian Outdoors gave us a good river ride down the Chestatee. Shopping was convenient and there were plenty of great places to eat. Be sure to eat at The Smith House in Dahlonega as well as the Yahoola Grill; both were excellent. The beds were comfortable, everything was in good working order, and the grill made some good steaks and burgers. All in all, the perfect vacation spot and the perfect place to stay."
