"Many wonderful family memories were created while staying in this fabulous house! It had been 7 1/2 years since my entire family could spend time together and this was the perfect house for all 13 of us to all stay instead of separate hotel rooms; trying to find a central location to meet each day. We cooked, fished, kayaked, sunbathed, relaxed and enjoyed each others company. We also took visited a couple of the local wineries and visited the Nascar Hall of Fame. The wedding we came for was also beautiful. Thank you Evelyn for being so gracious. You are an angel."

"A fabulous vacation home on the best part of Lake Lanier with beautiful, clear water. This house is supplied with everything you need, except for groceries and Publix is very close by. Fresh clean sheets, extra blankets and pillows, a fantastic grill, and everything you need to cook for a large or small group. Fuel dock very close by. This home has two living areas which was perfect for our older kids who wanted to stay up late. We slept 9 very comfortably. My husband was able to commute back to mid-town during the week. We typically rent homes from large property management companies, so we appreciated working with Anne. She is so helpful and was genuinely concerned that everything was just perfect for our family vacation. We hope to be back soon!"

"3 families (3 couples, 8 teenagers) stayed in this home July 25-Aug. 1. There was PLENTY of space for everyone. The bedrooms were unusually large and we felt we could have slept many more people. This is a great house for a large party. The owner was very helpful upon booking and always returned my email questions promptly etc. The pictures represent the home well, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness/condition of the home. It seems the owner does have the home cleaned after each booking and on the surface it was clean (like the toilets, sinks, sheets etc.) but there were lots of things in the home that need attention. Behind and under the beds were filthy, the walls were very dirty, lots of paint chips, leaks, shower grout dirty in spots, light bulbs out all over (house was very dark and we tried to change what we could ourselves), hard wood floors were dirty (our socks/feet were black), area rugs very dirty, musty washer, broken cabinets, kitchen was very disorganized, only 2 dishtowels, and not enough bath towels for larger parties. One TV didn't work and one only worked part of the time. We were also disappointed that we could not see the lake from the house due to the trees (the pic must have been taken in winter). It was much too buggy to use the firepit and the woods were too overgrown to safely get wood anyway. The road to the lake is steep but it is not that bad and better than steps :) The swimming dock was nice and the cove was ideal for swimming. The location of the property on the lake is perfect. The boat dock/garage is not shown in the pics for a reason. It is in a very poor state and is unsafe. A member of our party was injured getting on the dock the first day and was very lucky it was not worse. The owner was concerned and is hopefully, correcting the problem. NONE of these things kept us from having an amazing vacation (we spent most of our time on the lake). The house was the perfect layout for our group and the large kitchen was really nice since we cooked every night. We would go back again...the disappoint comes from paying $5000.00 for a house that is not immaculate. If it was a lower price, the dirt and disrepair would not be that big of a deal."
