  • Family get together.

"My family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Phelan's Lake Burton home. The house is set up so wonderfully that each bedroom has a lot of privacy. The kitchen is the best equipped that I have ever seen and the large pantry was a huge help. There is also a lot of parking space which is an added bonus. The lakeside area is wonderful for children and adults alike. The diving board and water trampoline were big hits with everyone. We are certain that anyone who has the opportunity to stay in this wonderful home will thoroughly enjoy their stay."

  • Just Bring Your Clothes

"My husband, two of his friends and myself stayed in this condo and attended Oktoberfest. The condo was luxuriously accommodating. Owner went out of her way to make sure our stay was great. Condo is located one block from Main Street and literally a hop, skip, & a jump to the Festivhall! You can easily walk to most things no need for your car. Thanks again for a great weekend."

  • Fall retreat

"Our group of 13 (mostly seniors) spent four nights here. The youngest were in their 40's and the oldest is 90. We enjoyed the screened in porches, fire pit (Those are some wonderful chairs around it!), hot tub, large living room and dining table, and the numerous places to get off by oneself. Even though we had rain off and on during our stay, we were able to enjoy the pontoon boat twice. The second time we drove some of the older members to a nearby boat landing so they wouldn't have to go down the steep hill. (Yes, that hillside is quite steep!) The house and décor are beautiful! Loved all the wood (walls, cabinets, floors, furnishings)! The beds were very comfortable and the acoustics are great. . . very little noise from people walking overhead. The kitchen is very well equipped; however if you will be needing a 9X13 pan, I'd suggest you bring one along. Plenty of other pans, cookie sheets, etc. There is a washer and dryer on the lower level and we were thankful for that. We seemed to keep running out of towels and washcloths although there was one of each furnished for each person. Lighting is a bit dim on the main floor.(It could use more light in the kitchen and the overhead lights in the living room could be redirected downward.) We moved a lamp in order to put together a jigsaw puzzle on the coffee table. (But then, this was a group of seniors with diming eyesight.) I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a vacation spot in the area and would love to bring my whole family here. Already started talking to one of them about that possibility. Thank you to the owners for all the work they did making this such a special vacation home!"

  • Great stay!

"I went up with a group of buddies for a whitewater trip. The stay was great! The house was spacious and very comfortable. We really enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the deck. The location was beautiful and emmersed in nature yet still very close to stores and resturants of downtown Clayton, GA."
