Recent Lake Rabun reviews

  • Good times at Lake Rabun!

"We recently visited my brother who moved to the Rabun Gap area of Georgia! My 82 year old mom, twin 8 year olds and my husband and myself had a very relaxing and fun vacation on Lake Rabun at this lovely home!We rented a pontoon boat and two canoes so the kids could go explore. We loved the screened in porch off the great room of the house. We had never seen so many trees and greenery being from LA! We even went horseback rising and zip lining. Lots of fun and beauty."

  • My happy place!

"We love to escape to North Georgia, and this place is the perfect getaway! We especially enjoyed the fireplaces during our winter trip. A glass of wine and a crackling fire...it doesn't get much better than that. During the day, we took advantage of some of the nearby hiking trails. The home was clean and well maintained. With plenty of room to sleep family and friends, we will definitely return in the spring and summer during the warmer weather."

  • Great house for mountain golf weekend!

"Went up in Septemeber for two days of golfing with some old friends. What a great house. it is somewhat secluded so no close nighbors, has all the amenities you need and 8 beds as well! Plenty of room. We had rain at night, thus could use the covered porch if needed to get outside. It was also very convenient to the highway (441) so easily accessible. The owner was very helpful as well. I highly recommend."

  • Mountain Getaway

"What a great house for a cozy winter mountain getaway (love to see it in Spring, Summer and Fall). The lighting and view of Seed Lake was beautiful. The kitchen very well equipped. The fire place roared. And the nearby hikes into the woods and past creeks and waterfalls were rejuvenating. We loved the seclusion - 3.6 miles down a dirt/gravel road, though hard to find at night. We will be back!"
