"Our stay at the cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. The cabin is exactly as pictured and is nicely decorated. We vacationed there with our 3 adult sons and their families. A total of of 8 adults and 3 children. The view is fantastic and everyone was comfortable for sleeping. Twins slept on mats on the floor and my grandson on the den couch. We had fun at night playing pool, games and just hanging out. First time up the hill is a little intimidating but you get used to it. We hung the Hummingbird feeder and that was a big hit for EVERYONE!! The tiny birds are so precious and will come to feed even if you are close by. As with any vacation we were sad to leave but I am sure we will always remember and talk about this trip in years to come. April is exceptional about getting back to you for any questions you might have. Thank you April for letting us use your lovely cabin!!!!"

  • Even wonderful in the rain!

"My son and family (teenagers) had planned an outdoors weekend but it rained most of the time we were there. The cabin is excellent as far as accommodations. I was thrilled when the owner called shortly after we arrived to check to see if everything was okay. The tin roof in the rain made sleeping a dream! The "landscaping" around the cabin and down to the stream shows the owner really loves the place. We walked up the lane toward the AT but found it quite muddy (would have really enjoyed it when it was dry). The decks are great for just sitting and relaxing. I was really looking forward to the stream which is was flowing quite rapidly. A great place to relax and get back to nature."

  • Another Great Stay

"This was our second stay at the lake house, and we had a terrific time. The property is fun to explore tucked back on a quiet little street where we road our bikes. The cove is very deep and provides hours of play; we literally lived at the dock when it wasn't raining. The owner is kind and generous, and he always makes sure everything is just right. We really do love it here and it has become a special part of our memories. The house is comfortable and filled with everything you would need for a fun time as well. We stock the pantry with food and just spend our days relaxing at the house, but there are also many great places to visit nearby if you want to explore. Really can't say enough good things."

Will definitely be back for another realxing time in the future. Thanks for the chance of experiencing the solitude."
