  • Mom and daughter trip

"There were only two of us on this trip so with a cabin that sleeps 11, we had PLENTY of room! My mom had been asking for several years to take her to the mountains, so we finally did it. The cabin was located not too far from town, so that made it easy to be able to explore the whole area. We cooked breakfast there each morning and the kitchen worked perfectly. We also had an indoor fire in the fireplace two of the nights and really appreciated the wood supply. Although the view from the porch (and all the windows for that matter) was incredible, we didn't hang out on the porch too much because it was COLD for most of our trip. We slept in the two downstairs bedrooms and I guess with the thermostat being on the main level, it made the downstairs very chilly. But, once we were in bed, no problem! The beds were quite comfortable and blankets were plentiful. The wifi was a little spotty but the 3G and cell phone service was just fine for our needs. There were a few dead bugs around the house, but I really have no problem with DEAD ones. lol! In all, it was a great trip and we really enjoyed ourselves and all of the sight-seeing the north Georgia mountains offers. Thank you!"

  • Awesome cabin

"My family & I stayed here for a wedding and we found the cabin to be in excellent condition. We had six adults, a teen, an infant and two dogs. The cabin was plenty big enough for that many as we never felt crowded. The inn keeper, David was very friendly and accommodating (even sent someone to jump us off after we left the lights on in their car). If we ever return to the area, and we all would like to, this is the only place we would consider staying. Excellent customer service and a cozy, comfortable cabin at a great price just can't be beat."

  • Ahh!

"Second time visiting this quaint, warm and inviting little hideaway...and again did not want to leave. Had some rainy, cold weather...perfect to enjoy the fireplace and bake some brownies, play cards and read. Nice days we ventured out, Tallulah Gorge, Mocassin Lake, and the falls and rapids surrounding Woodall Shoals. Great area, great people. Just the perfect getaway! Thank you Jim and Linda, for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us. See you soon."
