  • Great spot

"We all enjoyed our week in North Georgia. We celebrated birthdays, visited local sites, and relaxed a lot. Out of the way and very quiet, but still close to many activities, this was a great vacation choice."

  • Mom and daughter trip

"There were only two of us on this trip so with a cabin that sleeps 11, we had PLENTY of room! My mom had been asking for several years to take her to the mountains, so we finally did it. The cabin was located not too far from town, so that made it easy to be able to explore the whole area. We cooked breakfast there each morning and the kitchen worked perfectly. We also had an indoor fire in the fireplace two of the nights and really appreciated the wood supply. Although the view from the porch (and all the windows for that matter) was incredible, we didn't hang out on the porch too much because it was COLD for most of our trip. We slept in the two downstairs bedrooms and I guess with the thermostat being on the main level, it made the downstairs very chilly. But, once we were in bed, no problem! The beds were quite comfortable and blankets were plentiful. The wifi was a little spotty but the 3G and cell phone service was just fine for our needs. There were a few dead bugs around the house, but I really have no problem with DEAD ones. lol! In all, it was a great trip and we really enjoyed ourselves and all of the sight-seeing the north Georgia mountains offers. Thank you!"

  • Great Fall Break

"What a great view from the deck and great room. This house provided very good accommodations with all the feelings of being at home. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back with some of our family which includes young children and teenager. The house was everything that was promised in the listing - clean, well maintained with a beautiful view. I feel that the owner was very helpful and even sent an email asking if we had gotten there. You can't ask for anything better. We were familiar with the area so went to favorite restaurants and attractions plus we added a few new shops to our list. We always eat at the Cupboard Cafe in Dilliard and we love to browse in Reeves in Clayton. Franklin, the Highlands, Lake Burton, The Mark of the Potter near Clarkesville are always great places to visit. There were numerous produce stands where fresh vegetables and apples could be purchased. We look forward to returning."
