  • Tranquil

"We really enjoyed our visit last week. This is the second year for us and we were not disappointed. Enjoyed the new things you've done to the cabin. So relaxing. Thanks so much for sharing. God Bless!"

"Exceptional...outstanding...spectacular! Have I missed anything? Still the most relaxing cabin on the Toccoa river. The trees already in a color shift were breathtaking. You see when you're on the deck, which is literally right at the rivers edge, you're not looking at another cabin across the river. You're looking at the majestic fall colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Pictures don't do it justice nor will this review. You have to be have to breath have to feel have to see it. Peace and quiet? You're at the very end of Blackberry Drive? That's it...nobody else...just you. No cars driving people taking a walk by your cabin. Could any cabin be at a better location than this? NO! And the fishing? Not any different than it's ever been. PHENOMENAL!! Trust me I know. I was in Alsaka a month before. The old cliche still holds very true. " You get what you pay for." Rumor has it that next month they'll also have a video "from a birds eye view!" I can't wait to see it!"

  • Nice & Cozy

"With few exceptions, this was a great get-away place. It's not really secluded, as there are homes and rentals everywhere, but it still felt like we were a million miles away from everything. No cell signal on US Cellular, but strong (if slow) Internet connection. The property was clean and well-maintained and the sound of that creek on the property was just wonderful. If you don't like a hard bed, I'd recommend bringing an inflatable mattress - it is NOT a comfortable bed at all and was a lot like sleeping on plywood covered in steel. Not nearly enough space in the kitchen for guests to store food off of the counters, but an abundance of dishes and cookware available. Not the world's greatest grill, but it was great in a pinch. The porch and swing were just awesome for relaxing in the late afternoon sun. Overall, we had a wonderful time and Hope Landing provided a cozy and comfy place for us to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature."

  • Great Place for a large family!

"My family rented The Lodge at Summit Ridge in November for our annual family get together. It is a beautiful house, very clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed the house so much we hope to get together again there next year! Loved it!!"
