  • Pondside

"This cabin is amazing. Had a great time with nothing to complain about. Low rates and comfortable stay. Owners were a stones through away which made asking questions simple. Definitely plan on staying again."

  • Just Great!

"We had a wonderful time even though it rained every day while we were there. The beauty of the clouds rolling in was a majestic scene as it varied continually. Because of the height of this home in the mountains we had unbelievable views not only of these cloud formations but of the mountain tops and valleys! And, yes, one sunset that was glorious. The home is well equipped and we did spend a lot of time in it because of the weather. We were four adults and found it most relaxing. Even enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in cooking marshmallows. Every night we had a roaring fire too in the Family room. Working with Debbie and Bryan was the best. They were so helpful on ALL accounts and a joy to "do business with". A great restaurant we found was the Black Sheep in town and the very large Ingels grocery store was fabulous. Be sure to make your reservation for this VRBO!!"

  • River Bend is awesome!

"We had two families for Spring Break from Michigan, 4 adults and 6 children (age 3-10) and we had an awesome experience at River's Bend! The cabin itself is stunning, much better than the pics shown on the site! While it's in a resort community, the resort is huge and this is probably the prime cabin in the whole resort. Right on the river with lots of yard space for the kids, a legit fireplace area set next to the woods, clean and well-functioning hot tub, deer in the backyard, and a perfect setup for multiple families. Three beautifully themed bedrooms for each family to have their own space, plus a kids sleeping space with bunkbeds/futon to give them their own unique area that adjoins the game room. There are decks on every level where you can step out and listen to the sound of the rushing river, overall a very peaceful and relaxing experience. The closest neighbors are through the woods and you don't even notice them, it's secluded within the resort for those seeking privacy. The cabin comes with ability to utilize the resort amenities (indoor/outdoor community pools, mini-golf, tennis, etc...), and this was a nice perk as our kids had a blast in the pool. For those of you that fish, we struck out at the stocked resort pond (we could see tons of fish in there but couldn't lure any of them to bite unfortunately), though I did catch a bass wading in the Coosawattee river just upstream from the cabin (no trout in that stretch from what I understand). Families would have an easy time tubing this river when it warms up, was a bit chilly in early April for us to brave that though we did see kayakers and rafters out there. The best part about this place is the great value, as there is no up-sell from the advertised price for additional occupants, which can significantly change the price of other listings if you have a good sized group. Overall an excellent experience, and should we find ourselves again in northern Georgia this would be a must-stop for us!"

  • So Chill!

"This place is amazing! This is the second year in a row we have stayed there in October. The view and the atmosphere are so relaxing and chill that we can't get enough. A true escape with camp fires, grilling out and playing tennis at the resort area coupled with some road trips to go hiking at the falls, zip lining, or horseback riding are the best! Don’t forget to stop at the BubbaQ or Fatz Cafe for great southern cooked food and hospitality. Thank you Rick & Mary Beth!"
