Peace and Quite
"This cabin looks just like the photos. Just a cozy place.
It is nice to be in the kitchen and visit with the folks in the living area of this open floor plan. It was warm enough during the day to leave the sliding door open for fresh air and the musical sound of the river. This is the perfect hideaway of one or two couples. Our 2 tiny dogs loved running in the woods too. We took long walks and went to town once for dinner.. The driveway is a bit daunting, but manageable. We liked the area so much, we bought a cabin in Blue Ridge, so we would have our own Slice of Heaven."

"We chose this place based on its proximity to hiking trails and Lake Blue Ridge. The cabin is located in the ASKA recreational area and it was only a short drive to the trail heads and boat ramps. We took advantage of the numerous kitchen amenities by cooking breakfasts and dinners in the cabin and eating in Blue Ridge for lunches. The outdoor living space made for a scenic cup of coffee in the morning and a great place to chat beside the outdoor fireplace by night. The drive into the property is pretty easy with paved roads all the way up until the final gravel driveway beside the house. The owners were super easy to work with and my wife's 51st birthday could not have been celebrated in a more beautiful spot. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, a raccoon and several bunnies. No bears! The drive into Blue Ridge where many of the nice bars and restaurants are located is about 20 or so minutes traveling most of the way on Aska Rd.. Be aware that we were stopped on our way back to the cabin by a Fannin County police roadblock on Sunday evening. We were later told by locals that this is a regular thing as the weekend comes to a close and everyone comes in from the water and heads home. Overall a great value and a wonderful stay."

"We was very pleased with the cabin. It was well stocked with anything you would need. You could live in this cabin permanently without changing a thing. We did many miles hiking and it was nice to come back to a restful place to relax. I really enjoyed the back porch and the local squirrel (that thinks the bird feeder was made for him) had me cracking up watching him run back and forth. I would highly recommend this cabin. We traveled around to see many places including Tallulah Falls, Long Creek Falls and Springer Mountain. We went into town and ate at Joe's Barb-q which was awesome. Thanks again for sharing your house. Suzanne"

"What an amazing house to rent, the pictures don't even do it justice. I can't even describe how incredible it was to come back every afternoon and cook outside and hear the creek running. The house is filled with any and everything you could need, the modem and satallite worked perfectly. It's far enough for close enough to everything. I'm not sure which of the three swings I enjoyed more! The huge yard was manicured and because of it's size you never heard a single vehicle go by. This is a top notch place!"
