"Great cabin! It is alll what the pictures show. The cabin is very well decorated and equipped. The view is beautiful! We really loved the privacy. The hot tub and grill were awesome. We have been coming to Blue Ridge for 15 years and have rented many cabins. Mountaintop Getaway is truly worth your money in comfort, ambiance, relaxation, and enjoyment."Guest: gsk Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 10, 2014View listing
"Amazing stay! The cabin has the perfect Getaway. We were able to hear the Creek from our porch. The swing over the water was wonderful. Most vacations, we have spent less time at our lodging, but with the comfort and amenities, we did some shopping and sight-seeing excursions during the day, but spent most of our time in the cabin. Our Family will be coming back !!!"Guest: The Stricklins Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
"We rented the cabin May 9 & 10 for a very small family wedding. Friday night was girls night with lots of laughter, planning and some hot tub time. We had planned to have the ceremony on the island but due to the rainy weather we opted for the covered porch. After a little wedding decor it was perfect. We actually hope to come back for a girls weekend ? everything in the description is true! The owners are helpful, gracious and friendly."Guest: Deb Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 19, 2014View listing
"My husband and I bought our dog here and she really enjoyed playing in the river with us everyday and chasing balls in the open field area on the side. We slept well at night in the comfortable bed in the master. We sat the plastic chairs in the river which was really nice. The hot tub jets are super strong and the water pressure in the shower was great. We loved opening the doors in the bedroom in the morning with the cool breeze and the sound of the rushing river. It was soothing to swing on the porch in the afternoon under the double fans. Great location in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Thanks Deborah for all your help and being so easy to deal with!"Guest: Adventure Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 31, 2014View listing
Blue Ridge Travel Tips
Enjoy the Mountain View from Blue Ridge Cabins
If you reserve one of the Blue Ridge cabins for your next vacation, you'll be able to enjoy the mountains and explore the area while staying in a private home. Instead of spending your down time in a cramped hotel room, your family can enjoy the space and privacy that Blue Ridge GA cabin rentals offer. Because these cabins are owned and rented by individual homeowners, each one offers different amenities. Choose from rentals with private hot tubs, whirlpool tubs, gourmet kitchens or balconies with mountain views.
Catch Trout from Blue Ridge GA Cabin Rentals
One of the main reasons that people enjoy their stay at Blue Ridge cabins is the trout fishing. Some Blue Ridge GA cabin rentals are even located creek side. If you're not lucky enough to get a reservation to one of these prime spots during the fishing season, take a short drive over to the Toccoa River or Rock Creek. The Toccoa River is stocked on a weekly basis during trout season. On Rock Creek, you'll find a mixture of stocked and wild trout. If you'd like to venture into unknown territory, cast your fly line in the Noontootla Creek or the waters of the Cohutta Wilderness Area.
Go Back in Time at the Swan Drive-In
When you stay in one of the Blue Ridge vacation rentals , you can take a trip back in time with a visit to the landmark Swan Drive-In. Movie goers from all around Georgia flock to the Swan to satisfy their taste for a past era. This authentic drive-in movie theater has been in continuous operation since 1955. While you're there, you'll be able to take in a new-release flick on the big screen, snack on popcorn and funnel cakes from the concession stand, and even buy a T-shirt to commemorate the experience.
