So beautiful inside and out!
"Bedrooms were well furnished and very comfortable. Views from the back decks are spectacular. The fireplace and seating area by the river is a great place to have a weenie roast or to make smores. Hot tubs and pool table were fun for everyone. Large, well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare some great meals and enjoy them together. We will definitely be back!@"

"Thank you Laughing Bear Lodge for an amazing week! We visited with four generations of family in attendance and found everything about our experience to be wonderful. Not only are the amenities spectacular and the grounds breathtakingly beautiful, it was easy to feel right at home. Our family made some lifelong memories and we hope to someday have the opportunity to return to Laughing Bear and make some more."

"My senior parents and I plus my little Cockapoo dog had a mini getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Comanche Lodge. Upon arriving we were already sad that we were only staying for 3 days. We LOVED the indian and bear décor throughout the Huge cabin. My father has 2 replaced knees and a fused ankle, so the main floor bedroom was perfect for him - meaning he didn't have to go up or down any stairs. Although, he did manage to come upstairs into the loft area with me once to play several games of pool. Being that he is 82, he was proud of himself to not only be able to make it up the stairs but to also beat me in 2 out of 3 games of pool!! This cabin is so big, we never even made it downstairs to the lower level! I decided to sleep in the bed in the loft area upstairs by the A-frame windows. It was very relaxing to watch the stars at night right from your bed, plus I witnessed probably the prettiest sunrise I have ever seen right from my bed on the 1st morning. The sky was the color of Orange Sherbet over the mountains!! I took several walks right out the front door of the cabin and on a couple of occasions experienced several deer up close which was awesome. Although it was a little cool while we were there I still had my lunch on the deck each day just so I could look at the beautiful view. We loved how this cabin is secluded but yet there are other cabins close by which made us feel comfortable just in case we had an emergency. Being that it is the last cabin on the road, we NEVER even had a car ride by or anything and that was nice! I would definitely recommend a short 8 mile drive to Fall Branch Falls, which is a 3/10 of a mile hike up a little mountain to a very pretty waterfall. I did this by myself with my dog and felt comfortable in doing so. The road to the waterfall is mostly in a valley and on the way back to the cabin we saw over 20 deer and took some really good pictures. We are already planning a second trip back to Comanche Lodge with my entire family next year!! Thank you so much Michele for sharing your cabin which allowed me to have a great time with my parents!"
