Awesome Family Weekend Trip!
"We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin over Easter weekend for my daughters spring break. Being from Florida we are accoustomed to beach getaways so we decided to experience something different in the mountains. We had an awesome time and the kids had a blast! The cabin is very spacious and well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The beds are really comfortable and the decor is unique; it really makes you feel like you're in a real log cabin.
The location is perfect. Far enough away to feel secluded, but only a short, scenic 15 min. drive into town. Van Zandts, within walking distance, is a great little breakfast/lunch diner if you don't feel like cooking. The swinging bridge (highly recommended), and beautiful waterfalls are all within short driving distance.
The owner, Steve, is super friendly and very easy to work with. He was very accommodating and replied to all of my emails/questions in a timely manner. We will definitely be back in the near future!"

"We loved everything about the cabin. It was spacious, clean, very well kept, and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had master sinks. It would have been nice to have an extra roll of paper towel in the kitchen and extra rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms. Other than that, It was really great. Hope to go back."

"We chose this place based on its proximity to hiking trails and Lake Blue Ridge. The cabin is located in the ASKA recreational area and it was only a short drive to the trail heads and boat ramps. We took advantage of the numerous kitchen amenities by cooking breakfasts and dinners in the cabin and eating in Blue Ridge for lunches. The outdoor living space made for a scenic cup of coffee in the morning and a great place to chat beside the outdoor fireplace by night. The drive into the property is pretty easy with paved roads all the way up until the final gravel driveway beside the house. The owners were super easy to work with and my wife's 51st birthday could not have been celebrated in a more beautiful spot. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, a raccoon and several bunnies. No bears! The drive into Blue Ridge where many of the nice bars and restaurants are located is about 20 or so minutes traveling most of the way on Aska Rd.. Be aware that we were stopped on our way back to the cabin by a Fannin County police roadblock on Sunday evening. We were later told by locals that this is a regular thing as the weekend comes to a close and everyone comes in from the water and heads home. Overall a great value and a wonderful stay."

"This cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and super clean! The views were amazing. Rhonda was great to work with. She was prompt in every question we asked of her. We have a great time on our girls' weekend! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!"
