  • Very comfortable and cozy!

"We had a great time at this cabin and Tara was very helpful and easy to work with. The cabin was clean, decorated tastefully, was well equipped and had everything we needed. The mountain views were beautiful and we did build a fire in the fire pit one evening but the weather was pretty chilly so we didn't stay out long. We had planned to use the hot tub but we didn't get around to it. There were plenty of beach towels provided for it. I would definitely rent this cabin again. The cleaning fee was higher than what was advertised on VRBO and I missed that when I agreed to the quote so just be sure to double check that before booking. Tara explained that the advertised cleaning rate is for 2 people for the minimum stay."

  • River Bend is awesome!

"We had two families for Spring Break from Michigan, 4 adults and 6 children (age 3-10) and we had an awesome experience at River's Bend! The cabin itself is stunning, much better than the pics shown on the site! While it's in a resort community, the resort is huge and this is probably the prime cabin in the whole resort. Right on the river with lots of yard space for the kids, a legit fireplace area set next to the woods, clean and well-functioning hot tub, deer in the backyard, and a perfect setup for multiple families. Three beautifully themed bedrooms for each family to have their own space, plus a kids sleeping space with bunkbeds/futon to give them their own unique area that adjoins the game room. There are decks on every level where you can step out and listen to the sound of the rushing river, overall a very peaceful and relaxing experience. The closest neighbors are through the woods and you don't even notice them, it's secluded within the resort for those seeking privacy. The cabin comes with ability to utilize the resort amenities (indoor/outdoor community pools, mini-golf, tennis, etc...), and this was a nice perk as our kids had a blast in the pool. For those of you that fish, we struck out at the stocked resort pond (we could see tons of fish in there but couldn't lure any of them to bite unfortunately), though I did catch a bass wading in the Coosawattee river just upstream from the cabin (no trout in that stretch from what I understand). Families would have an easy time tubing this river when it warms up, was a bit chilly in early April for us to brave that though we did see kayakers and rafters out there. The best part about this place is the great value, as there is no up-sell from the advertised price for additional occupants, which can significantly change the price of other listings if you have a good sized group. Overall an excellent experience, and should we find ourselves again in northern Georgia this would be a must-stop for us!"

  • MLk Weekend 2015

"This mountain cabin was fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from thier city life and relax comfortably in the countryside. Be aware that the house carries sound very well, so you may want to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. This did not detract from my visit whatsoever. This cabin has a few notable highlights: -The large kitchen area is very well equip, and was a joy to cook in. -The view of the stars at night was wonderful, as the cabin is above any light pollution. -The spacious lawn was perfect for playing catch, horseshoes, and other games. -The proximity to Pigeon Mountain cannot be beat. I am already looking to plan another trip here!"

  • Nice Place to Be.

"My husband and I bought our dog here and she really enjoyed playing in the river with us everyday and chasing balls in the open field area on the side. We slept well at night in the comfortable bed in the master. We sat the plastic chairs in the river which was really nice. The hot tub jets are super strong and the water pressure in the shower was great. We loved opening the doors in the bedroom in the morning with the cool breeze and the sound of the rushing river. It was soothing to swing on the porch in the afternoon under the double fans. Great location in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Thanks Deborah for all your help and being so easy to deal with!"
