"Sorry my review is so late. I can't begin to express how happy we were with this cabin. We obviously went in the winter so there wasn't a lot of activities going on but we were looking for peace and quiet which we got. We are mid 40's and this time didn't bring our children/grandchildren but would love to on future visits. The cabin was so warm and cozy, very much a "home" feel. I rented a cabin in the same area the year before and it didn't feel like "home". We didn't see much wildlife while we were there but again it could have been the time of the year, it was quite cold. THANK YOU for a wonderful getaway, I do hope we can book this cabin again."

"We had a very nice time on the river. The house was very well outfitted, toilet paper paper towels. We ate in most meals so was glad to see the kitchen so well outfitted. We enjoyed eating out on the deck. We did eat a few meals out and it is not far from town. So many nice restaurants to eat at. We ate at Blue Ridge Brewery and the Black Sheep. Both were very good. We enjoyed the firepit and did smores down there. Also got in the hot tub and enjoyed that. Kids got in the water. While we were there we went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee, kayaked the Toccoa River and tried to paddleboard but the proprieter of the only game in town was not very agreeable. We went to the Saturday open farmers market in town and really enjoyed that and picked apples at Mercier Orchards (they also have great vegetables and fruit.) If you want to use inner tubes, bring them from home. None at the house and none at the wallmart or dollar store, and I thought it was still summer. No problems with the tv, but internet service didn't work till the last day there. The driveway is a little intimidating at first but if you really can't handle it, I am sure you could park down below and use the stairs. The recomendations below say age 55+, I would check it if you can handle stairs because my husband and I are both 55+ so use your judgement. I used the stairs as exercise. All and all we had a wonderful time."

"My family stayed in the cabin in March and loved our visit. The cabin has everything you need for a great weekend. The view of the river is awesome and we had a great time fishing. The kids enjoyed the big yard and tire swing. The fire pit and hot tub are a perfect way to enjoy the river after dark. We are already planning our next trip."

"My family an I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin getaway. It was fully stocked with all the amenities you needed. Everything was clean and we loved all of the details that went into the "feel" of the cabin. We enjoyed having the full kitchen and fridge to enjoy home cooked meals and appreciated having the multiple views of the creek to dine from to make the most of our stay. My 3 year old was able to catch his first fish at the creek the very first day we were there. We must have caught nearly 2 dozen trout (white bread worked the best). The cabin was a perfect secluded, but safe place to enjoy time away with family. We highly recommend the Taccoa River Restaurant as it is only a short drive from the cabin. We also recommend you visit the Amicalola Falls State Park. And while your are there, you mine as well take a scenic drive to the town of Dahlonega, GA. We recommend the Crimson Moon Restaurant there for a casual meal. The trip was great and the cabin was even better. We had NO issues with the caretaker of the cabin. He was easily accessible by phone and even recommended the Taccoa River Restaurant for a place to eat. This cabin exceeded all and any expectations we had. We hope to be back again and soon."
