"My hubby and my Bicheon-Poo were there for a week and it was glorious! Great cabin in the woods. We enjoyed just relaxing and taking short road trips. The kitchen had everything we needed. The main shower and bathroom were nice. I appreciated all the supplies provided for our use. The living room was very comfy and so nice to open the door for fresh air ! The beds were comfortable. We tried the Murphy downstairs too. Slept in because it was darker!!!!! Loved the screened porch so Kasey could play ball safely. We planned to cook on the fire-pit, but ran out of time (hope to go back). Larry was such a nice guy and he and Joyce provided such a nice, clean get-away for us! Thanks!!!!!!"

"Spent 2 weeks at the cabin and enjoyed every minute of it. Had two family get togethers, ages 8 tk 72. Everyone had a great time. Something for everyone . Plenty of room and things t ok do. Even during four days of rain . No one was disappointed. Can't wait to come back and repeat our family party"

"We stayed at the Summit for an amazing girls weekend that was the perfect mixture of relaxing and adventure. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We spent most of our stay dining, shopping, hiking, and visiting a winery in the Blue Ridge area, but our favorite activity from our trip was spending an entire morning relaxing and visiting with each other on the rocking chairs on the porch over coffee. There were plenty of activities to do in the area and we were not able to get to everything, saving some for future trips with and without our families. The owners were quick and pleasant during the booking process and provided detailed directions and recommendations that were essential in enjoying some of the more tucked away local gems. We're looking forward to returning to this fantastic property in the future."

"Another great stay at "Fishermans Retreat!" We arrived on October 25, 2015 and departed on November 01, 2015. Possibly our fourteenth visit to "Heaven on the Tocooa river." We still find everything as beautiful as our very first stay! The colors were breath taking! The weather was non typical for the last month of October and we endured almost a week of rain. Were we disappointed? NEVER! Did we catch fish? ALWAYS! Six beautiful trout with the largest rainbow weighing in at close to four pounds! And where is that fish today? In Jerrys and Charlottes freezer! Our way of saying thanks. The other five trout caught by by my wife Wendy which she seems to constantly remind me of that fact. What can I say....I taught her everything she knows....plus some. So, in closing we'd like to say thanks again to our wonderful hosts. Their cabin and its location equates to this. Fish...fried apple pies...fun! Our final hope? They will adopt us!"
