"We just got back from an unforgettable weekend at Sunrise Ridge. We had 2 families with a total of 5 kids and 4 adults. The kids had a blast! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the activities were endless. The boys loved the ping pong table on one of the porches (and so did the men!) and the air hockey table. The girls loved having the basement to themselves with their own living room and watched their movies without interruption. The local IGA had the best meat selection and we enjoyed steaks on the grill with room for everyone at the large dining room table. One of my favorite parts was early morning with my coffee on the porch that overlooks the mountains. The birds were singing and the smell of fresh pines was amazing, definitely a home where you can relax and unwind. With the spacious layout everyone has room to spread out and enough bathrooms (4 1/2 I think) so that we could all get cleaned up after a day at the lake and pool area. We will always remember this trip. Also, if you get the chance I highly recommend renting a pontoon boat at the marina for a cruise and swim and a meal at the clubhouse that was very good!"

"My wife and I had high hopes for a clean, comfortable, safe and convenient location to spend five days in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. What we experienced far exceeded our expectations! The amazement begins the moment we walked through the door to our most amazing getaway home. Marietta Ringger the owner does an over the top job of providing comforts and conveniences that are second to none. From the decor (which is fabulously indescribable!) to the hot tub, the Keurig coffee machine, wifi, clear satellite television reception in a beautiful country setting "Logsweet" was perfect! While there we enjoyed day trips to several falls, a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, a run to Brasstown Bald, an afternoon in Helen, shopping in downtown Blue Ridge and of course daily stops at the Mercier Apple Orchard. After each day's adventure we were very happy to be returning back to our cozy cabin suite in the woods. My wife will definitely be back and we highly recommend a stay here ... we promise you will not be disappointed!

"We enjoyed returning to this fantastic getaway with several couples and friends. A lodge nestled in the mountains overlooking beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, this is a great place to relax with plenty of things to explore within a short drive. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, amazingly beautiful decorated mountain escape, you need look no further. Check out the photos as they show the beauty that can't be described. Master suite bedrooms were so unique and the bathrooms featured granite countertops, separate jacuzzi tub and shower. Heated floors added to the luxury and were a favorite of ours! All were beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The guys loved watching football games downstairs relaxing in the 4 leather recliners. The girls even enjoyed watching the game on the other TV that was downstairs too! The welll-equipped kitchen was appreciated as we had several meals there. There were also great restaurants nearby. The balconies on every level have the most picturesque views of the lake and mountains. We will definitely return again to this wonderful rental lodge!"
