"The Sundail is a beautiful, spacious, inviting property. Our vacation was our second trip, and included the same three couples, and we cannot wait to return next spring. Everything that I wrote in my last year review is still applicable: the privacy of having 3 bedrooms on three levels, the fun of cooking/grilling together, the comfort of the spacious common rooms and of the broad decks and spotless hot tub - perfect vacation for three reuniting couples! Elaine sent us email about fun things to do in the surrounding area, but WE WERE SO HAPPY AT THE SUNDIAL THAT WE ONLY VENTURED OUT ONCE, to the charming little burg of Blue Ridge (consider Harvest on Main for a gourmet lunch). i cannot praise this property enough."

"This was such a great place to stay! We did a long weekend with our kids and the cabin and river provided all the activities we needed. The kids loved playing in the river catching crayfish and salamanders. We relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay from ice to firewood, to a warm cozy bed. No need for tv's, iPads, iPhones there were plenty one of local activities and restaurants to go to. Highly recommend this awesome cabin. We loved it and the kids are asking "when can we go back?""

"This was my family's first time visiting the North Georgia mountains as we usually travel on up to the Smoky Mountains. We decided on the Blue Ridge area this time and started investigating places to stay. This cabin seemed quite affordable, and the pictures posted above looked incredible. We contacted the owners and arranged to stay in their cabin in early October. Due to a family medical emergency, I had to contact the owners again and tell them we would not be able to make it for the days reserved. They seemed genuinely concerned for my family and not just how it would affect their rental calendar. They were extremely caring and were willing to work with us on a better time to visit. This was such a blessing to me and my family, and we were able to work out a later date. The Priest Cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway! The river view was even more beautiful than in the pictures! We loved just sitting and listening to the rush of the river with no other noise than the local wildlife. It was pretty cold and drizzly the first few day of our stay, but the cabin kept us nice and toasty. We were fine just using the heaters even though the wood burning stove looked quite efficient. We loved the décor inside, and it reminded us of exactly what it was, a mountain cabin! The TV's and internet worked great, and we had no problem with cell reception on the porch. The basement bedroom and bathroom were also nice and didn't make you feel as if you were in a basement. We all commented on how comfortable the living room couch and love seat were, and I believe we all took an evening nap there at one time or another. Overall, this was a great, comfortable, relaxing place to stay that gave you that mountain feel we all want to experience. The upper porch view alone was worth the stay! This cabin is a little ways out from central Blue Ridge, but in the end I believe that is what adds to its charm. The ride out from town was quite scenic and picturesque, with the last few miles to the cabin being the best of all! In the midst of the awesome mountain views, we saw all kinds of wildlife in their natural elements. What fun we had every day driving around exploring the area and them coming home to a lovely place to relax and unwind. I am so glad we visited the Blue Ridge area this year, and that God led us to the Priest family. We are so grateful that they shared their awesome cabin with us. We would love to visit again!"

"For my small family(wife, kids and I) stayed her and loved it! Place has everything you need(not consumables) from the bathroom to the kitchen. Kids love the loft room 5" ceiling. Looks like a room designed just for them. Loved that it's stocked with all the old VHS that I watched as a kid. Cute little place. Hope to come back. Perfect for the small family. Btw one of the only mountain houses with a yard to play catch!"
