  • Perfect little get away.

"Let's start with the very few negatives: 1. They had run out of propane, and only had two empty bottles near the grill. 2. The TV/DVD combo kept overheating Everything else was fantastic. The cabin is beyond cute, decorated well and has everything you could need. We throughly enjoyed our stay. They provided plenty of firewood, and the screened porch is just beautiful"

  • Great stay for a vacation, and for your dog!

"I think our dog loved the place too. The fenced in yard made it easy for us to enjoy the outdoors with my dog son. The coffee was delicious and our dog appreciated the toys and the treats."

  • A Snowy Stay at Eagle's Nest

"Who would have guessed that when we arrived that 2 snow storms were heading our way. Luckily, we had stopped to get provisions for our stay before we got to the cabin. We were “snowed in” (so to speak), but the cabin kept us warm and cozy. We had a nice fire every night and the hot tub was very relaxing, especially with the views of the snow covered mountains and trees. We kept busy putting a couple of puzzles together, watched TV and went out for a couple walks in the snow. And of course I had to build a snowman. There were quite a few deer tracks in the snow but we didn’t actually see any deer. Also, we filled up their bird feeder and I think we were the hit of the mountain. The birds really appreciated the seed. The cabin was very comfortable, nice beds, plenty of throws/blankets/towels, even robes for the hot tub. Those were much appreciated. We hope to come back during the non-snow season..LOL. But we saved money by not shopping in Blue Ridge or Ellijay. We’ll just have to shop next time. The owner was very accommodating and concerned for our situation. Us Floridians weren’t equipped for snow covered mountain roads, but we made it out safely. We had a nice time. It was a fun experience."

  • Truly a Heavenly Hideaway

"This cabin was fantastic! Secluded high atop the North Georgia Mountains, it offered a much needed escape from the stressors and demands of everyday life. The home was fully equipped with everything you would need from toiletries, to laundry detergent, even hot chocolate. The owners have thought of it all and outdone themselves to offer a cozy getaway. The interior of the cabin is nicely decorated with rustic charm, and brings the entire experience together. A beautiful stone fireplace is the center piece of family gatherings in the living room. Flat screen TV's throughout and internet included (just be aware of how many people are connected to the Wifi at one time because it slowed the connection) Two private porches overlooking a lush green area outback, complete with grill, firepiy, rocking chairs and of course a hot tub! The beds were cozy and there was plenty of space for the entire family to bond as a group, or to experience some alone time and much needed peace and quiet. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of when I need to reach her which I appreciated very much. Staying at Heavenly Hideawayas a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday was a blast being surrounded by family in this beautiful cabin. I can't wait to return!"
