  • Great stay for a vacation, and for your dog!

"I think our dog loved the place too. The fenced in yard made it easy for us to enjoy the outdoors with my dog son. The coffee was delicious and our dog appreciated the toys and the treats."

  • Really Nice!

"More than satisfied with this cabin. Great scenery! Ellijay and Blue Ridge has a lot of interesting shops, flea markets, and resale stores. Great owner to work with, gives great directions! Beautiful log cabin, well equipped, clean and quiet. We had a great vacation here."

  • Pleasant

"It's so pleasant sitting here on the screened porch reading and sipping some wine from a local winery. It seems to be threatening rain again, but the wind is providing a nice symphony with the chimes. The birdsong is gone for now but maybe we'll get an encore once this weather system has gone through. Can't say enough nice things about this cabin. It allows us to stay on one floor and still enjoy the hot tub. Love the openness of the kitchen. The road is a little busier than I anticipated but maybe after the weekend, quiet will resume. The screened porch allows us to be outside even though the weather seems to want us to stay inside. This cabin was well thought out in its planning. Area is very nice. We have been to Blue Ridge, Morganton, and McCaysville. Will see Ellijay when we venture out again, which will be another day. Determined to just stay here on a Saturday and enjoy what nature has to offer. Ah, the birds are calling again."

  • Slice of paradise

"After the first hour I was totally relaxed; just what the doctor ordered when getting away from a stressful job! Where to begin? Indoors, the cabin (truly a cabin) is just gorgeous with all the right extra touches and decor. They actually care enough to give you excellent quality towels and plenty of them. There are Himilayan Rock salt lights in each bedroom which after going into town in Blue Ridge I discovered help greatly toward dust reduction, reduced snoring and healing (psoriasis, breathing, excema, etc.) If you have a chill, just turn on the gas fireplace at the push of a button on a timer, no less. Heats the room up so quickly, which we needed at times as it is still March. But the best part is the outside. Unbelievable! It's a man cave, but as a woman, I LOVED IT! The outdoors has a huge covered wooden deck. It's as big as the cabin itself, with a gorgeous grill, sink, fridge (for your libations, because who can be bothered to walk inside....when you're watching March madness by the fireplace)..yes AND a fireplace and TV! The adirondack rockers were my fav overlooking the valley (great for reading or meditating). And if that weren't enough, yes, a hot tub! I think this is a GIRL CAVE too. Wake up to the chirping birds...this place has it all...including Leo, the sweet dog that comes around to welcome you each day. He's smart enough not to go inside. He just likes to lay around if you welcome him, if not he'll go away. Leo made the stay even more like a home for us. I was there on their opening weekend and I couldn't believe how much there was to do. Besides Blue Ridge, which has several great resturants, including a restaurant (or 3) with the James Beard award (Harvest). Went hiking to a waterfall and White Water Rafting on the Ocoee near the Olympic rafting site for the 1996 Olympics. Who knew there was so much to do there. And if you like Craft Beer, you're in the right place. Plenty of that and specialty drinks (organic) in town, too. By the time I left here I was window shopping Real Estate in town. You can't go wrong with this place! The owners care and it shows. PS - rent an SUV, the road is a bit steep and can be muddy in the rain"
