"Our family of 13 (ages 6-80) stayed in this cabin for a week and had an incredible time. We even had extended family come up from Atlanta for a day and still had plenty of room. The creek outside was great for fishing, floating or chilling out. It was an easy drive to hike waterfalls, see Blue Ridge and even Helen, GA. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved seeing all the deer every time we ventured out. Amy, the owner, was very helpful and on top of things. She answered all our questions and emails in a very timely manner. Super easy to work with! We highly recommend this cabin and would definitely return!"

"This was the PERFECT home for our vacation in the north Georgia mountains. The house is set in a wonderful wooded lot and has plenty of space for families or groups. There are two large bedrooms upstairs and smaller, but ample, bedrooms on the lower level off the family/game room.
There is so much space, and each has its own character, that you don't know whether it's best to enjoy the large living room, the family/game room, or sit out on one of the porches. Eventually, you just try out all of them.
The house is in immaculate condition, and everything (appliances, electronic/entertainment systems, WiFi, etc.) was like-new and in perfect working condition. The owner even provided some of the extras (laundry soap, coffee) travelers can often forget to have on-hand their first few days of a trip.
There is also a small stocked lake about .75 miles from the house--just a short drive or a nice walk.
As we checked-out, we laughed that the house was so good that it would have be easy to skip the outside attractions of the Blue Ridge area and just spend time relaxing at home.
this home is highly recommended for families (we have twin 15-year boys) or a group of adults. I could see this as a great place to stay in the fall/winter when you're just looking for a warm, secluded getaway.
If we were to ever return to Blue Ridge (we live about 800 miles from Atlanta), this would be the first place we would look into renting."

"This is a wonderful cabin - by a beautiful creek!! The cabin was so well stocked with everything we could need. The kids LOVED the game room on the lower level. They played hours of ping-pong, air hockey, and pool! And the nice, cold creek was a perfect way to beat the summer heat! We enjoyed tubing down the creek (in tubes supplied by the owners!) and meeting the very friendly neighbors! Evenings --- we enjoyed playing board games and cards around the big kitchen/dining table - and then roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores at the fire pit in the back. Wonderful week!!"

"A fully stocked kitchen with supplies for food prep, storage, laundry and clean-up chores. It was obvious that the owners do want their guests to feel welcome and to make sure of that they have fully stocked the unit with things like laundry detergent, aluminum foil, plastic wraps, ice in the ice maker, loads of towels, soaps, toilet tissue. The unit was clean and inviting when we arrived. We were returning to Big Canoe visiting friends and playing some golf. Our stay could not have been more comfortable. We recommend this particular unit and owners without any reservations. We will be returning for sure. Thank You. Chris and Sue"
