"my wife and I and our three dogs greatly enjoyed this little cabin. It was very clean reasonably priced and provided a lot of privacy and awesome views of the lake. We enjoyed taking the canoe out of the lake and that was a nice bonus. There's nothing fancy about this place but if you're looking to get away it is the perfect spot. There is zero cell phone reception and no cable but we really liked being forced to get away from technology for a few days. Everything else we needed for a comfortable stay."

"We could not have picked a better weekend to come to Sunrise Ridge. This is our groups second year of coming to this home in Big Canoe and it did not disappoint. The home was luxurious with the decor and amenities that it offers. The leaves were at their peak and dinner at the Wild Onion Grille was one we won't forget. We each had our own bed and bathrooms which was a special treat! We have already booked our girlfriend getaway for next November and are counting down the days. We will always return to Sunrise Ridge."

"This was a great cabin to stay in while visiting Blue Ridge. Everyone loved the place and all the room. The kitchen was very stocked and we loved the roomy dining room off of the kitchen. Everyone had their own space and plenty of things to do. The view is beautiful! Great porch to sit on and take in the view. The kids loved the firepit and being in the outdoors, we saw deer two mornings in the yard. The only negatives I could think of would be: the hottub is not ready when you get there you have to turn the temp up and allow it to get hot, need new wash cloths, and a few more candles and flashlights (we were there during a storm and lost power, not a whole lot of options for light)."

"My friends and I visited this cabin for the weekend and there was 13 of us plus one puppy. I can't think of anything negative about this place; I mean there was just enough space for all of us. Comfortably the bungalow sleeps 12 but we had planned to bring an air mattress and it worked out fine.
We were provided with towels, dishes, cleaning soap, linen, pillows, and all kitchen necessities. The cabin offered free wifi and a gas grill, which I prefer charcoal but it worked just fine.
We decided to take a hike in the woods but we couldn't really figure out where the lower falls were so we just turned around bc it was getting dark anyway. The adventure was great altogether !
The only thing that was a little inconvenient was where we had to go to take the trash. It was about 5-8 miles from the entrance but we didn't know there was a route to the oth entrance from the cabin.
Overall, I would definitely come back and stay at this cabin. Thanks for making my birthday celebration a great one!"
