"There is a group of us from all parts of the south that get together once a year in late July or early August to have a reunion of sorts combined with as much adrenaline rushing as we can stand. We call ourselves FRAMILY because we are friends that feel like family and it was our word way before Sprint started using it in their advertisements! We always raft the Ocoee and we also like to enjoy a lazy day of tubing. This property has surpassed all the others that we have used in the past and was absolutely perfect for our group. We enjoyed the game rooms and had ample sleeping quarters along with all the linens we needed for our stay. In the past, we have found that even when a property can sleep 10-14, we have to eat meals in shifts in order to all have a seat. One of the features we loved was the big farm table and the bench seating. We had some marvelous meal times around that table, as well as FRAMILY talks and game times. . The deck, right off the kitchen, was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. Located in a gated community, we felt very safe and would have liked to have enjoyed some of the amenities offered, but the amount of time we had together did not allow for that. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and there was ample firewood. We would have liked to use the hot tub but could not raise the temperature higher than 93 degrees which would be our ONLY complaint. All of the bedrooms were just as they appeared on the website and the linens were nice. The kitchen was well stocked which made it very nice because preparing and enjoying great meals is one of our favorite things. It was very nice to have tubing available on the resort property. We had some very specific needs for bedrooms with couples, singles, and a mom with an adult son with some special needs, and this was a property that suited all of those requirements. We will definitely consider using this property again as long as our group does not grow to exceed what it can accommodate! A big thank you to Marla for her help and information provided."

"Tubing down the creek (so clean, so clear, so inviting!!), enjoying bonfire every night while listening to music (the speakers are set outside of the cabin porch area, as well as inside, that was really cool!), soaking in the hot tub (huge, with adjustable lights) under the BIG, BRIGHT GEORGIA STARS! Just laying out catching some sun rays (we would cool off in the creek when it got too hot), relaxing on the porch swing... We barbecued almost every night. The grill is small but it does the job. The kitchen was fully stocked except there were no frying pans! We purchased one from a nearby Walmart and left it behind for other guests to use :) Both beds were really comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows available. The inside of the cabin was just as great as the outside. The location is perfect. We were surrounded by other cabins so it felt good knowing that there were other people there with us in the woods, but at the same time the cabins were far enough that we had a lot of privacy. The weather was beautiful! It rained one night only but that just made the experience so much better! It felt amazing just sitting on the covered porch while the heavy rain is pouring down...very relaxing. That was the only night that we actually spent time inside, playing video games! The WiFi was awesome! The cabin remained nice and cool for the most part until it didn't! :) that was quickly fixed by simply switching the central air off and back on. Kim thank you so very much for your very prompt response during our stay as well as prior to our arrival! The roads leading to the cabin are a little rough, but a piece of cake after you drive on it for a bit. There were many things to do in the area, but the cabin and all it's amenities and the creek kept us occupied the whole time that we only left when we ran out of charcoal and firewood (oh and beer and wine, it's a dry county too so no hard liquor was sold anywhere around us) ... 5 days just wasn't long enough! I cannot wait to go back!!! I can only imagine how beautiful everything is in the fall!"

"My family and I came from Florida, and did not want to go back home. The hot tub was perfect after hiking trails and tubing down the river all day. All mornings should be spent drinking coffee on the swing and watching hummbingbirds feed with those cloudly mountains in the background. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and the pictures did not do it justice!"

"Cabin was in excellent condition. As other reviewers noted, it was much nicer than the photos! Great location, close to whitewater rafting and hiking. It was a good fit for a group of 10. Owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. Would highly recommend."
