"We just came back from our time in "Paradise". What a great place! We celebrated my parents' 50th Anniversary over the 4th of July weekend. The house accommodated all of us (8 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs) extremely well. Great big kitchen that we could work in together (great supply of kitchen equipment, pots and pans, even spices and seasonings). Large rooms upstairs and down for playing games (tons of games, movies, books and toys). Big decks to gather and enjoy the day (loads of chairs and an outdoor kitchen). It was really great that the main floor was handicap accessible because one of our party couldn't manage stairs but was never excluded from any of the celebration. The kids loved the ping pong/pool table, and the swimming passes for the great areas in Big Canoe. My parents loved the fact that we could all be together in one house, but still had room to have some "away time" if anyone needed it. The area is really lovely and it's close to lots of hiking. We went to a beautiful waterfall about 15 minutes away. I can't say enough about how great the place was for our family. And Dwight was terrific. Answered all questions right away and gave excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend "Paradise" and look forward to coming back."

"Overall, a wonderful experience! We had 3 families and all had plenty of space and privacy. The kids loved the hot tub, pool table and bunk beds in the lower level. Beautifully decorated. Beautiful river. Owners/property manager very helpful and laid-back, eager to ensure a great stay! Only suggestions - the outside upper deck was in need of a little cleaning and the house could have been a tad bit cleaner...however, I am a CLEAN FREAK AND GERMOPHOBIC, so I have very high expectations. I'm sure the average renter would find it to be more than acceptable!"

"We chose this place based on its proximity to hiking trails and Lake Blue Ridge. The cabin is located in the ASKA recreational area and it was only a short drive to the trail heads and boat ramps. We took advantage of the numerous kitchen amenities by cooking breakfasts and dinners in the cabin and eating in Blue Ridge for lunches. The outdoor living space made for a scenic cup of coffee in the morning and a great place to chat beside the outdoor fireplace by night. The drive into the property is pretty easy with paved roads all the way up until the final gravel driveway beside the house. The owners were super easy to work with and my wife's 51st birthday could not have been celebrated in a more beautiful spot. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, a raccoon and several bunnies. No bears! The drive into Blue Ridge where many of the nice bars and restaurants are located is about 20 or so minutes traveling most of the way on Aska Rd.. Be aware that we were stopped on our way back to the cabin by a Fannin County police roadblock on Sunday evening. We were later told by locals that this is a regular thing as the weekend comes to a close and everyone comes in from the water and heads home. Overall a great value and a wonderful stay."

"We had a group of 27 from ages 4 months to 81 and we all had a great time. Unfortunately, it was raining on and off for four of the seven days, but that didn't matter! There was so much for the kids to do in the basement, they were never bored. The adults relaxed and talked or played games on the main level since there were so many seating areas and space to spread out and do different activities. So comfortable and relaxing. When it wasn't raining, most of us were on the creek trying to fish or just enjoying the patio and walking on the grounds. The bedrooms worked our perfectly for our different family needs. Everyone kept commenting, "they thought of everything!" Even though it is a large house, it very much felt like home!"
