  • Great location! Lots of fun!

"We were there for girls get away long weekend, there are 6 adults and 1 kid in the group and we all enjoyed our stay. River Dwell is situated in a great location; river front view is such a nice plus. You can see the river the main floor and master bedroom, and the sound of river was quiet nice and soothing. I was not expect a outdoor fire pit with seating area, and swing from tree over the river. The set up was great and we all enjoyed grill marshmallow over the fire at night. This unit is also very convenient located. Local attractions are just few miles away with scenic drive. Mercier Orchid, Spa, horseback riding are activities we did, and supermarket are all within 6-7 miles away."

  • A Snowy Stay at Eagle's Nest

"Who would have guessed that when we arrived that 2 snow storms were heading our way. Luckily, we had stopped to get provisions for our stay before we got to the cabin. We were “snowed in” (so to speak), but the cabin kept us warm and cozy. We had a nice fire every night and the hot tub was very relaxing, especially with the views of the snow covered mountains and trees. We kept busy putting a couple of puzzles together, watched TV and went out for a couple walks in the snow. And of course I had to build a snowman. There were quite a few deer tracks in the snow but we didn’t actually see any deer. Also, we filled up their bird feeder and I think we were the hit of the mountain. The birds really appreciated the seed. The cabin was very comfortable, nice beds, plenty of throws/blankets/towels, even robes for the hot tub. Those were much appreciated. We hope to come back during the non-snow season..LOL. But we saved money by not shopping in Blue Ridge or Ellijay. We’ll just have to shop next time. The owner was very accommodating and concerned for our situation. Us Floridians weren’t equipped for snow covered mountain roads, but we made it out safely. We had a nice time. It was a fun experience."
