"Great cabin and great location. Well equipped with everything you need to cook just about anything. Private setting at the end of the road. Great for family get togethers or a group of friends. Comfortable beds and nice furnishings. Beautiful setting on the creek with lots of wildlife."

  • Beautiful Cabin

"Normally our family goes to Tennessee. This cabin was recommended to me by a co-worker so we decided to give a new place a try. My family LOVED it !!!!! Needless to say, we have decided that we will not go to the TN anymore. We loved everything about the cabin, sitting on the porch listening to the water and just watching the Hummingbirds. The cabin had everything that you could possible need. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. We cannot wait to go back next year !!!!"

  • Perfect Group Family Getaway

"This gorgeous house was perfectly appointed for our large group and the pictures do not do it justice! We were six couples staying in this lovely home with 11 children all under the age of 4 with many little babies, and we could not think of a thing that was not provided in this house. They had pack-n-plays, highchairs, toys and games for the children and even had little mini-cars for the toddlers to use outside on the deck.....and speaking of the decks.....they were FANTASTIC!! It was also a great place for the kids to be able to get outside and still be "fenced in" so the adults could keep an eye on them while visiting. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly appointed. We have been doing this trip for almost 9 years with this big group of friends, and we always cook our own meals but always end up wishing we had more things from home. We never needed a thing on this trip. The hiking option right outside the back door were amazing and the children loved walking across the bridges and exploring the nearby lakes. What a wonderful visit we will not forget. If you are considering renting this house, GET IT - you will have a wonderful time!!"

  • Lovely North Georgia paradise

"First off, let me thank Matt for sharing this cabin with us. It was everything as advertised and more!!! My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity and blessing to celebrate our 32nd anniversary at "Eagles Nest". We have stayed at other cabins in the Cherry Log area and this by far has the best view in Cherry Log. Alot of detail has been put into decorating the cabin and making guest feel comfortable. The weather was cool in the evenings which allowed us to open the windows at night and listen to the beautiful music nature provided to serenade us to sleep each night. Each morning was spent on the screened in porch enjoying our coffee, watching the birds, squirrels and a black cat that walked through the property often. We enjoyed our meals that we had at the cabin on the porch as well too, enjoying the beautiful views of Rich Mountain. The fire pit was great too. We enjoyed having our family here for one night to sit around and talk, enjoying the fire and making smores. I don't want to forget the hottub either, very relaxing after being out-and-about during the day, what a way to end the day with a soak in the tub, enjoying a glass of wine and looking at the stars and moon through the trees on the open deck (we did have a couple of clear nights). There is nothing lacking here for sure. There is so much to do in and around Cherry Log. We have been coming to the North Georgia Mountains for 20+ years and look forward to finding a vacation home in these peaceful beautiful mountains to enjoy and share with family and friends. We're looking forward to our next trip to the mountains, hopefully it won't take us a year the next time!!!"
