"A fully stocked kitchen with supplies for food prep, storage, laundry and clean-up chores. It was obvious that the owners do want their guests to feel welcome and to make sure of that they have fully stocked the unit with things like laundry detergent, aluminum foil, plastic wraps, ice in the ice maker, loads of towels, soaps, toilet tissue. The unit was clean and inviting when we arrived. We were returning to Big Canoe visiting friends and playing some golf. Our stay could not have been more comfortable. We recommend this particular unit and owners without any reservations. We will be returning for sure. Thank You. Chris and Sue"

"Girl's Weekend was everything we had hoped for in the North Georgia Mountains.
River Rest was relaxing and easy to get to. I have stayed in many cabins over the
years and I have to say, River Rest has the BEST beds! My morning coffee, never tasted so good, sitting on the screened porch, listening to the river rapids and especially eating Apple Donuts from Mercier Apple Orchids in Blue Ridge.
We drove to the Apple Festival within 15 minutes from the cabin. We saw lots of families of deer on the roads driving out of the Resort to Ellijay & Blue Ridge.
Sarah, the Owner, was wonderful and understanding in so many ways! If you have any question or concern, she'll take care of it for you."

"What an amazing house to rent, the pictures don't even do it justice. I can't even describe how incredible it was to come back every afternoon and cook outside and hear the creek running. The house is filled with any and everything you could need, the modem and satallite worked perfectly. It's far enough for close enough to everything. I'm not sure which of the three swings I enjoyed more! The huge yard was manicured and because of it's size you never heard a single vehicle go by. This is a top notch place!"

"This cabin was perfect for all of us. Ages ranging from 8 to 65. It is on a beautiful spot and it feels very secluded. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the grill made some great steaks that we enjoyed at the table on the screened in balcony. The creek is breathtaking and there's a great big rock just downstream that makes a great spot to picnic or just hunt for arrowheads and cool stuff in the water. Don't forget your rubber boots! There was plenty of firewood for the fire pit down by the creek. The only problem was that we only stayed 2 nights! Wish we were still there! P.S. Amicalola Falls State Park is about 25 miles away, don't miss it. There's an ADA Accessible trail that leads down the bottom of the falls and it's beautiful."
