"For the second year in a row, my family and I were able to spend it at our favorite place-Acorn Ledge Lodge! Friday evening was spent on the porch, plotting and planning for our "legit" hiking day Saturday! And hike we did; from The Pocket Trail to the "Estelle Mines" trail! We visited WMA Pigeon Mountain to Rocky Road and the AMAZING view, and lightly explored a few caves! Rounded the entire day off with a meal at our favorite eatery, The Wildflower Cafe in Mentone. Thank you again for sharing this very special place with us. Already scouting a time for our next visit! ❤️"

"I stayed at Eagles Nest with my husband and two young children. We just loved it! The kids thought the loft was the best play area. The view from the hot tub and back porch is just stunning. The kids and I had a great time just hiking around Cherry log and checking out the other cabins. I'm glad we took the time to check out the sign about half way down the mountain that points to "recreation" and "chapel." There is a cute little lake and an even cuter little chapel down there! I would agree that making the trip in the daylight for the first time would be best. Our GPS said we arrived a few minutes before we actually did so we had to find it on our own. It is a bit of a drive up the mountain, but totally worth it for the view. Breakfasts on the porch and evenings in the porch swing were two of my highlights. Such a relaxing place to be."

"Our family of 9, ages 89-6 months had a wonderful time! The home is great and everyone had room to spread out and relax. Home is well stocked and appliances were top line! The trail from the river is a challenge but on the up side, I think a lost a couple of pounds! :) Homes are within walking distance of each other but you still feel like you are the only ones there. Renting all the homes would be fun for a large family reunion! The area offers many activities, hiking, river rafting (Ocoee Rafting was great!), shopping. Views from Brasstown Bald were stunning. We hope to return! Thanks for providing a wonderful place to stay!"

"We were six adults and three children, the house was large enough to accommodate all of us.
Everyone enjoyed the fireplaces, and the hot tub.. we could have used more towels in all the bathrooms, we had to keep washing towels because between the hot tub and showers we ran out quickly..
The creek in the back of the house kept the kids very happy also the recreation room with a foosball table & large screen TV, it was a little cold downstairs, we could not find and heater or anyway to turn on the heat.
All and all we all had a good time at Hemlock Hollow; David the manager was very attentive and answered all our emails and texts."
