"Had such a wonderful stay at The Bear's Den. The cabin was spacious and conveniently located near so many attractions. The view was gorgeous, and it was secluded enough that you really have a sense of peace. Highly recommended."

"We had two families for Spring Break from Michigan, 4 adults and 6 children (age 3-10) and we had an awesome experience at River's Bend! The cabin itself is stunning, much better than the pics shown on the site! While it's in a resort community, the resort is huge and this is probably the prime cabin in the whole resort. Right on the river with lots of yard space for the kids, a legit fireplace area set next to the woods, clean and well-functioning hot tub, deer in the backyard, and a perfect setup for multiple families. Three beautifully themed bedrooms for each family to have their own space, plus a kids sleeping space with bunkbeds/futon to give them their own unique area that adjoins the game room. There are decks on every level where you can step out and listen to the sound of the rushing river, overall a very peaceful and relaxing experience. The closest neighbors are through the woods and you don't even notice them, it's secluded within the resort for those seeking privacy. The cabin comes with ability to utilize the resort amenities (indoor/outdoor community pools, mini-golf, tennis, etc...), and this was a nice perk as our kids had a blast in the pool. For those of you that fish, we struck out at the stocked resort pond (we could see tons of fish in there but couldn't lure any of them to bite unfortunately), though I did catch a bass wading in the Coosawattee river just upstream from the cabin (no trout in that stretch from what I understand). Families would have an easy time tubing this river when it warms up, was a bit chilly in early April for us to brave that though we did see kayakers and rafters out there. The best part about this place is the great value, as there is no up-sell from the advertised price for additional occupants, which can significantly change the price of other listings if you have a good sized group. Overall an excellent experience, and should we find ourselves again in northern Georgia this would be a must-stop for us!"

"The Sundail is a beautiful, spacious, inviting property. Our vacation was our second trip, and included the same three couples, and we cannot wait to return next spring. Everything that I wrote in my last year review is still applicable: the privacy of having 3 bedrooms on three levels, the fun of cooking/grilling together, the comfort of the spacious common rooms and of the broad decks and spotless hot tub - perfect vacation for three reuniting couples! Elaine sent us email about fun things to do in the surrounding area, but WE WERE SO HAPPY AT THE SUNDIAL THAT WE ONLY VENTURED OUT ONCE, to the charming little burg of Blue Ridge (consider Harvest on Main for a gourmet lunch). i cannot praise this property enough."

"I recently stayed at this cabin, when my family gathered to celebrate my Mother's 90th Birthday, in Ellijay. The cabin was perfect for me and my two sons and daughter-in-law. We each had our own room and bath, and it was great being in that peaceful setting, but still close enough to town to be able to take advantage of the activities there. Mike and Hilda were great (as always) in helping us with anything that came up, and the place was comfy and cozy - despite the dip to 19 degrees one morning (quite cold for this 'Florida Girl'). It was a great place for us! We had a great time and look forward to our next trip to the north Georgia mountains."
