  • Perfect place for a big family get-together

"Well built nicely layed out beautiful big house that met all our needs. The house has a great location. The view of the river is beautiful. And the area around here is my favorite part of Ga. Waterfalls all over. Great hikes in Cohutta. Blue Ridge is a cute little town with surprisingly nice artsy stores. We like to cook and the kitchen is well stocked and fully functional. Beds all comfortable. The master bedroom is spectacular. Pictures are accurate. This home is everything you wish for in a mountain vacation home."

  • nice time on the river

"We had a very nice time on the river. The house was very well outfitted, toilet paper paper towels. We ate in most meals so was glad to see the kitchen so well outfitted. We enjoyed eating out on the deck. We did eat a few meals out and it is not far from town. So many nice restaurants to eat at. We ate at Blue Ridge Brewery and the Black Sheep. Both were very good. We enjoyed the firepit and did smores down there. Also got in the hot tub and enjoyed that. Kids got in the water. While we were there we went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee, kayaked the Toccoa River and tried to paddleboard but the proprieter of the only game in town was not very agreeable. We went to the Saturday open farmers market in town and really enjoyed that and picked apples at Mercier Orchards (they also have great vegetables and fruit.) If you want to use inner tubes, bring them from home. None at the house and none at the wallmart or dollar store, and I thought it was still summer. No problems with the tv, but internet service didn't work till the last day there. The driveway is a little intimidating at first but if you really can't handle it, I am sure you could park down below and use the stairs. The recomendations below say age 55+, I would check it if you can handle stairs because my husband and I are both 55+ so use your judgement. I used the stairs as exercise. All and all we had a wonderful time."

  • Perfect Birthday Get Away

"This cabin was a perfect choice for my birthday get away with family. There were 6 of us and two Chihuahua's. Everyone had their own bed and bath with porch access. We enjoyed a fire in fireplace first night and fire in fire pit the next night, owners supply wood which is such a wonderful little extra. Beds are very comfortable with good quality linens. We loved the screen porches - would be even better in the summer when mosquitos are out. My granddaughter loved the swing in front of cabin. We felt right at home. Cabin was just as described in listing, only better. Can't wait til our next trip."
