  • Talking leaves cabin is adorable.

"Talking leaves cabin was adorable. We found it to be super clean and quite comfortable. It had everything we needed during our stay. The view from the deck was fabulous. I only wish the weekend we arrived wasn't during a cold snap so we could have relaxed on the deck more. We did enjoy the hot tub but being novice hot tub users I would have appreciated some instructions for it. Somehow the second night the temperature had dropped and it took a very long time to heat back up to a comfortable temp. From the cabin it wasn't too far to amicalola falls which we also enjoyed. Thank you for a pleasant stay!"

  • A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

"River Mist Cabin is the perfect place for all! The cabin is adorable and well stocked and the scenery is beautiful! Whether you want to sit on the porch swing or rocking chair and read, or want to stay active by playing corn hole, fishing, tubing or kayaking, or want to relax in the 6 person hot tub with a beautiful view day and night, this place is for you! This was the 6th reunion for long time friends, and the best place that we have rented in Blue Ridge. We enjoyed all the amenities including the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace! No one wanted to leave and all hope to return one day! Peaceful and Perfect!"

  • Great Easter Weekend!

"We are big fans of Blue Ridge, but this was our first time staying a Toccoa House. We had a wonderful time. We thought the river was a tad closer, but once we found we could drive my mother with knee problems down to river it was all perfect. Dad and boys had a blast fly fishing, while we heckled them from the adirondack chairs on shore. We especially loved playing cards with the whole family on the huge dining room table and watching the final four on the HUGE T.V. downstairs."

  • Wonderful experience for a different sort of vacation

"My family normally looks for sun'n' beach or sun'n'pool vacations when we want to get away. In fact, we first learned of this place when we stayed at the owners rental in Florida a few years back, and have been interested in visiting it ever since. The drive up into Lookout mountain itself is exciting (coming from the flat prairie lands of the midwest). Then walking out on the enormous balcony overlooking the valley was something else. From that balcony we could watch sunrises/sunsets, storms and lighting shows in the far distance, and of course the clouds. We had a different viewing experience nearly every day. There is a large hot tub, a grill, dinning table and lounge furniture around a fire pit. We spent most of our time out there, day and night, eating, drinking and relaxing -- just what we were looking for on this vacation. Back inside, we kept the french doors to the balcony open most of the time during the day creating a nice indoor/outdoor vibe. The furniture is very plentiful and comfy, and the kitchen well stocked. The best is the buck stove for keeping us cozy during the chilly nights. This place is also very dog-friendly, one of the reasons we rent with the owners. Our dog could completely run free in the fenced front yard and on the balcony/open family room. She loved our walks up and down the drive, and also the hikes in the local state parks. Outside of hiking in the parks, we didn't really get away from Ridgetop much, but for a reason. It is so relaxing and beautiful. loved it."
