"I have been renting this house for several months, and it is extraordinary. The back side of the house is primarily glass, so even when you are inside you have an expansive feeling. The pure air is so refreshing and it is peacefully quiet. I have spent every available moment on either the wonderful deck or large screened porch. There is lots of wildlife to enjoy including deer, wild turkeys, hawks, hummingbirds, large woodpeckers, and others. The house is very comfy, and there are varied activities for all ages…lake, swimming pool, golf, tennis, stables, hiking. The owners are extremely responsive and a pleasure to get to know. I will definitely rent this home again when I need a nurturing mountain experience."

"My husband and I and another couple stayed at the cabin for 5 days. We were more than pleased with the accommodations and surroundings. The cabin was so clean and you could tell it was very well cared for and maintained. Nothing was left out including the view! I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck enjoying the view. We loved sitting around the campfire at night. We loved the trail and the river although we didn't have much luck with fishing. We loved that Buster and Dixie accompanied us every time we went out. Buster even led us down the trail when we would drive. They are very good dogs. It was great going on vacation and having them around. We really miss them. I would highly recommend this cabin."

"This cabin is very secluded out in the woods but is extremely comfortable and well apportioned. The owner is very responsive and friendly and clearly wants to make sure his guests are taken care of. I would gladly stay here again!
If you're in town for hiking the Appalachian Trail, the terminus is about a 35-40 minute drive from the cabin, but most of that time is due to an unpacked road up the mountain. Otherwise, this place is a great, relaxing place to spend some time in peace."
