  • Girls Weekend

"I just returned from this home for a girls weekend and was very impressed. The house is in a great area of Big Canoe surrounded by many high-end homes and has beautiful mountain views. The screened in porch was wonderful, including a TV and fireplace. The house is very spacious and slept 8 very comfortably. The furnishings are nice and the kitchen is well-stocked. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great Family Getaway

"The property was exactly what we expected and made for a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway. The home comfortably slept four families. The open floor concept made for great place for everyone to hang out. As for locality of the home, we could easily get to downtown and all the attractions on the mountain. We would definitely come back in the summer just to hang out. There is no doubt; I would recommend this property as a place to stay."

  • Great getaway

"My husband, dog and I took part of our Spring Break and headed to Blue Ridge. I contacted Lois about renting the cabin and she was incredibly fast to respond and we arranged the trip. She was prompt with the information on getting in and how to get to the cabin, which made life much easier. GPS was off when it came to finding this little gem. The cabin has EVERYTHING! The beds are firmer but very comfortable, and the showers have great pressure and temp. It was very clean, but didn't feel sterile. It felt incredibly homey, which was great. The decks have amazing views, and plenty of seating to enjoy them. I only wish there was a light for the downstairs deck to enjoy the hot tub at night. The house is up in the mountains up a long gravel road, I would recommend a SUV. However for being up in the mountains, it was incredibly close to everything. Less than 10 mins to Blue Ridge and all it has to offer, and about 15 mins to Ellijay. We would definitely come back to spend time here. It was exactly what we needed and wanted when we booked a mountain vacation."

  • Beautiful home, setting and surrounding area

"Seventeen members of our family descended upon this beautiful home and loved every minute of our stay. The house was perfect in every way--even for our 3 and 6 month old babies! Everything was clean, inviting, and comfortable plus we had all the amenities of home. We loved the beautiful mountain setting, too, and enjoyed sitting on the rustic verandah, roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The huge grill was great and big enough to hold food for all of us! The family enjoyed lots of fun activities in the area--white water rafting, tubing, ziplining, horseback riding, fishing, golfing, scenic railroad, the winery, shopping, and wonderful hiking trails. A fun time for all!! We even saw a big black bear a couple times and loved seeing all the rabbits, fireflies, and beautiful moths. Thanks, Kirk, for always being there to answer any questions we had and for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful time!!"
