"After staying in many cabins all over I must say this was by far the best! Location, accessibility and awesome peaceful view! Cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. I would recommend the Coldwater Cabin to anyone looking for a get away! And in addition to all I said above the owners were so much help and great to deal with!! Can't wait til next time!!"

  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

"Couldn't ask for a better place for a large family get together. The Boyd's are outstanding to work with and their amazing home was so comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of room for family dinners and loved the deck for views of the lake and charades! Thank you for a perfect stay. By the way, your steam shower is the BOMB....wish I had one!!"

  • Relaxed!

"Enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend at this wonderful property hidden away on a ridge near Blue Ridge. Very comfy and very cozy, and not too far from some of the areas favorite restaurants and attractions. Property was everything it was advertised to be - no disappointments. Owners were wonderful and accommodating in every way. Looking forward to a return very soon."

  • nice time on the river

"We had a very nice time on the river. The house was very well outfitted, toilet paper paper towels. We ate in most meals so was glad to see the kitchen so well outfitted. We enjoyed eating out on the deck. We did eat a few meals out and it is not far from town. So many nice restaurants to eat at. We ate at Blue Ridge Brewery and the Black Sheep. Both were very good. We enjoyed the firepit and did smores down there. Also got in the hot tub and enjoyed that. Kids got in the water. While we were there we went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee, kayaked the Toccoa River and tried to paddleboard but the proprieter of the only game in town was not very agreeable. We went to the Saturday open farmers market in town and really enjoyed that and picked apples at Mercier Orchards (they also have great vegetables and fruit.) If you want to use inner tubes, bring them from home. None at the house and none at the wallmart or dollar store, and I thought it was still summer. No problems with the tv, but internet service didn't work till the last day there. The driveway is a little intimidating at first but if you really can't handle it, I am sure you could park down below and use the stairs. The recomendations below say age 55+, I would check it if you can handle stairs because my husband and I are both 55+ so use your judgement. I used the stairs as exercise. All and all we had a wonderful time."
