Panoramic ocean and mountain views; secluded vacation home
"We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful home during our stay in Laupahoehoe for a family reunion. Although we spent most of our days at the Laupahoehoe Point for meals and activities, it was relaxing to come "home" to this restful and comfortable place in the evenings. The house was nicely equipped with a great kitchen and the washer and dryer came in handy. The great view from the deck helped us to wind down from the days' activities and to better appreciate the beauty of this side of the island."

"Very comfortable home near the Waipio Valley Overlook.
Small kitchen, but well stocked with what ever you need to cook. Tex Drive-in for Malasadas.
Very close to nature, so we saw lovely plants, cows, horses, birds, geckos, ect. Wonderful view too.
The bird songs were wonderful, but the frog sounds at night could be irritating. That may vary with the time of year. Comfortable beds. Go to the Hawaii Vanilla Company farm - have lunch and take the tour. Delicious, fun and informative. Only a 15 or 20 minute drive. Walk down to the beach from the Waipio Valley Overlook."

"The 180 degree ocean view is stunning and we had complete privacy unless you count the occasional grazing cows! The condo was very clean and had all the basic amenities. Rachel was also very gracious and welcoming. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place."

"My wife and I spend the first 3 nights of our honeymoon here and it was the perfect way to start. The location is great! It's far enough off the beaten path that we had plenty of privacy and quiet but also in a great location for exploring so much of the island. We didn't spend much time at the house because we were out exploring but the time we did spend was exactly what we wanted. The views are amazing and the cottage and property are very well kept. We loved picking fresh fruit from the orchard in the morning for our breakfast and Paula and Dan were great hosts. If you're into hiking there's no better place than Waipio Valley and you can walk there from your front door. We did this on our first full day and were lucky enough to see wild horses on the beach. It was an amazing trip from start to finish!"
