"This is our second time staying at Hulili Farms. The first was two years ago, and it was paradise. Yet, I'll admit, when I was booking our second trip to Hilo, I looked at other properties in the area just to see what else was out there. I found plenty of great places in this area, but nothing and I mean nothing compared to what I knew was waiting for me at Hulili farms. Sheree's banana bread alone puts this property above all others. But past the bread, the property offers amenities that the other's didn't. Many places looked like they were furnished with someones old cast offs, but here the cottage is comfortable and homey with a well stocked kitchen. And nothing beats sleeping out on the hanging bed and listening to the rain. The location is perfect. 20 minutes into town for what ever you need, and then back to privacy. The drive along the Hakalau coast is breathtaking. You're basically in a rain forest. It also gives easy access to the rest of the island. We even went to the southern most tip of the island and it didn't feel far. Sheree has this wonderful knack of being around when you need her yet you would never really know someone else is living on the property. Beautiful views of the ocean and access to the water is just down the hill. For our next trip, I'm going to save myself the time of exploring other options and just book Hulili farms."

"A great house with a fabulous view! We've stayed there twice and have always been happy. Very clean, well stocked and well maintained! The property manager is always quick to respond. Great kitchen and lovely pool area!"

"We arrived to a clean and well-stocked condo. It's not the Ritz, folks, but it was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and in a perfect location. We enjoyed the view and seeing whales from the lanai with the binoculars provided. The location was convenient to our planned activities, yet away from any noisy town traffic. Our favorite part was snorkeling next door with the turtles. We went just before sunset and there were about 30 turtles in the lagoon. We hiked around volcanoes national park, and enjoyed the fresh produce and the lilikoi butters at the farmers market. But, the most amazing day was at Imiloa planetarium. We went for an hour show and none of us was ready to leave after 4 hours, including our four year old. We have been to planetaria in Los Angeles and Chicago, but prefer this one. Our presenter, Cam, also works at Mauna Kea on the telescopes. He was very informative as well as patient and inspiring for our child. The food at Imiloa was the best we tasted of any restaurant in Hilo.
This condo was a great place to stay and we will definitely try to stay in this unit again."

"Great view. Whale watching from the balcony with 5min drive to downtown Hilo. Nothing like sleeping to the sound of ocean waves and waking to watch the sunrise over the ocean from your lanai. We bought fresh Mahi Mahi from the fish market and grilled it on the grill and ate it with fresh fruit and vegetables from the farmers market. All the tastes, sites and sounds that you want from a Hawaii experience"
